the firm as a whole. MARRS works for agencies from Los Angeles to San Diego, managing
programs, projects, and construction; providing project controls, and engineering design
services. I led the effort to create a new 3 -year vision and plan for the firm; improved internal
operations in marketing, business development, and communications; and was focused on
increasing MARRS' presence in the 88 cities of LA County to ensure sustained future growth.
McKissack & McKissack (July 2013 — September 2014) Los Angeles, California
Regional Operations Manage solely responsible for —$1.4M LA office profit /loss, leadership for
staff of 7 -9, business development, and technical and administrative oversight of all work
performed out of the Los Angeles office. Services include Program, Project and Construction
Management for infrastructure and facilities improvements.
Achievements:
• Project Management - Client and Project Manager for field teams working for LAUSD,
LAWA (at LAX), and Metro's LAX /Crenshaw LRT, and Exposition LRT, Phase II Lines.
Contracts /Financial
• Rectified working on two projects without executed contracts; negotiated risk -
adverse terms out and executed both.
• Obtained payment for work that was six months in arrears ($60,000) and executed
contract extension. Consistently worked directly with Director of Accounting and
admin staff to ensure prompt collections.
• Corrected billing rates that were 15% below actual contract rates, including 10
months retroactively, and executed new task order with staff raise of 6% and max
profit permitted per contract.
• Moved office and established annual $20,000 savings via new lease terms, and
concurrently set up the office to establish a design practice with the much more
efficient space.
o Prepared three business plans and budgets in one year due to changing targets
and leadership, in direct coordination with the COO and Accounting Director.
BD /Marketing

Psomas (June 2010 — June 2013)
Los Angeles, California
Seller -doer Senior P'roiect Manage responsible for management and delivery of civil
engineering designs to public agencies. Business development duties include sales, marketing,
proposal preparation, and interviewing with clients in a wide variety of roles, including Project
Manager, QA/QC Manager, Assistant Project Manager and Roadway Design Lead.
Sales: Led or played a key contributing role in producing 8 wins out of 11 pursuits in first
year at Psomas, including two $2.2M contracts with the City of Los Angeles for the North
Spring Street Viaduct Widening and Wilshire BRT Projects. Similar successes with
Measure R and other roadway and bridge projects produced revenue and profit that
exceeded team goals in 2012.
Client Service: Consistent Client Service Review scores of 9 and above (out of 10 possible).
Project Management: Wilshire BRT and Middle Lanes Project — Project Manager who led
team in the preparation of Pre - Design Reports, and the plans, specifications and estimates
(PS &E) packages to improve 3.5 miles of Wilshire Boulevard for the City of Los Angeles.
Multi- disciplined project consists of pavement rehabilitation, bus rapid transit signage and
striping, signal modifications and infrastructure improvements, landscaping and public

• Responsible for delivery of $20 -30M capital improvement programs, including major
freeway interchange improvement projects valued at approximately $20M.
• Obtained $2.2M Metro Call for Projects grant for one $8M project.
• Extensive writing, presentation and public meeting experience, including City Council,
Planning Commission and community meetings.
