CONTRACT 4987A CLOSEDAgreement No. 4987A FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT NO. 4987 BETWEEN THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO AND JAMES McNARY, dba BINO CONSTRUCTION THIS FIRST AMENDMENT ( "Amendment ") is made and entered into this 21 st day of March, 2016, by and between CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, a general law city and municipal corporation existing under the laws of California ( "CITY "), and JAMES McNARY, dba Bino Construction ( "CONTRACTOR "). In addition to the amount set forth in Section 2 of the Agreement, the CITY agrees to pay CONSULTANT an additional sum not to exceed one thousand, sixty two dollars and fifty cents ($1,062.50) for CONSULTANT'S services, for the increased scope specified in the attached Exhibit `B," which is incorporated by reference. 2. This Amendment may be executed in any number of counterparts, each of which will be an original, but all of which together constitutes one instrument executed on the same date. Except as modified by this Amendment, all other terms and conditions of Agreement No. 4987 will remain the same. The facility is located at 615 E. Holly Avenue in the City of El Segundo, CA 90245. Holly Ave. El Segundo, Unit 219 — 221 CA 90245 Description Price Sliding Door Installation -- Recommendations: General Construction Labor —_work to be performed per drawing and by general construction practices where drawings are non- descripted. • Move area contents as needed. • Remove existing sliding glass door from opening. • Prepare framing and exterior stucco as needed for reinstallation of new door, new flashings, and weatherproofing. • Provide wood and hardware to reconstruct the framed opening as needed to accommodate a raised door installation. • Construct a raised base at door threshold as part of the framing reconstruction as needed. • Provide and install perimeter door and threshold base seal flashings. • Install one new sliding glass door (provided by the city of El Segundo). • Patch interior door perimeter drywall then touch up prime and paint to match existing as close as possible. • Apply 60 lbs. base paper, scratch, brown, and finish stucco textures to match existing texture as close as possible. • Touch up prime the new stucco patched area. • Apply sika I joint sealer at door perimeter; to include threshold base. Price Per Door: • Apply two coats of Dunn Edwards exterior stucco paint to match existing color as close as possible. $ 9,855.00 • Clean up and dispose of debris. CHANGE ORDER Custom Sill Extension Trim—Recommendations: Due to the sliding glass door frames being ordered 4 % inch wide rather than exactly like the existing 5 % inch wide old frames; we have to customize a finish sill trim and drywall corner bead. This is billable under the Interior Reconstruction section herein above. • Provide 3 each custom galvanized finish trim extensions to sliding door frames. Hourly Rate: • Modify trim sets to extend the sill door trim and protect the exposed $ 125.00 framing. Total Hours: • Seal the joints of the custom installed flashings as needed. 4.5 • Provide and apply Alkyd bonding metal primer to finished areas.
