The City will have wide ranging backup support in all construction disciplines, as and when needed. The HCI team can provide excellent assistance in value engineering, as also in ensuring that any inconsistencies or mistakes in the construction documents are identified and corrected well before the construction phase thereby ensuring that all deliverables /plans are of the highest quality. HCI will take an integrated approach to make sure that any potential delays are caught early by coordinating with all parties concerned and extra effort will be made to make sure that the project is delivered on time and without additional cost to the City or its client. This philosophy is demonstrated on a daily basis with all of HCI's client jurisdictions. a. Mr. Ken Robertson, Director Community Development, City of Hermosa Beach. Ph: (310) 318 -0235. b. Phone: (805) 596 -4105 CONCLUSION: Why should City of El Segundo consider IICI7 i. HIGH QUALITY PLAN CHECK and FULLY EQUIPPED TO HANDLE LARGE COMPLEX PROJECTS: HCI has qualified plan checkers who rwylaLly update their knowledge of codes. It has been HCI's proud privilege to be asked by jurisdictions to review plan checks performed by others (including `Big -Name' consultants) where we found serious mistakes /omissions. In one instance a consulting company plan checked and approved 11 dead -end corridors in a high rise office building. In another instance use of residential sprinklers was approved for a hotel project even after sprinklers were used for building area increase. ii. FAST TURN AROUND: Our turnaround is the fastest in the industry. iii. VERY COST EFFECTIVE: The City and community of El Segundo will see cost savings as a result of our low fee structure. At HCI we are strongly committed to customer service and will take all necessary measures to ensure professional and high quality Building Plan Review, Inspection and Permit Technician services to the full satisfaction of the City of El Segundo. We are very confident that if again given the opportunity to serve City of El Segundo, we will live up to your expectations and fully comply with your contractual standards and regulations.
