THIS °11IIRD AMENDMENT ( "Amendment ") is made and entered into this ,z j day of
December 2010, by and between CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, a general law city and municipal
corporation existing under the laws of California ("City "), and J Lee Engineering, Inc., a
California Corporation ("Consultant ").
1. Pursuant to Section 35 of Agreement No. 3790 ( "Agreement "), Section S is
amended to extend the term to September 30, 2011.
2. Pursuant to Section 35 of the Agreement, Section 1 (C) is amended to read as
follows:
"As additional consideration, CITY agrees to pay CONSULTANT a sum not to
exceed One Hundred Seventy hive Thousand Dollars ($175,000) for
CONSULTANT'S services for contract total of $775,000.00 through September
30, 2011. CITY may modify this amount as set forth below. Unless otherwise
specified by written agreement to this Agreement, CITY will pay this sum as
specified in the attached Exhibit "B," which is incorporated by reference.
�. This Amendment may be executed in any number of counterparts, each of which
will be an original, but all of which together constitutes one instrument executed on
the same date.

4. Except as modified by this Amendment, all other terms and conditions of
Agreement No. 3790 will remain the same.

d. An advance copy of correction lists will be faxed or e- mailed to the
applicants in advance of returning the reviewed plans, when requested.
4. Provide review services for standard/regular plan check, resubmittal plans,
and plan revisions at the Hourly Rates as follows:

5. Provide "expedited" plan reviews as requested and on an as -need basis. The
Hourly Rates for the "expedited" plan check services requested by the City
will be 1.5 times the Hourly Rates for the regular plan check services or as
agreed.
6. Submit monthly itemized invoice to the City for the services provided.
Payment is due within thirty (30) days from the date of the invoice.
7. Provide plan pick -up services at no additional cost to the City. The plans will
be picked up from the City within one(1) working day of the receipt of notice
by JLee Engineering personnel, delivery shuttle service, or mail /package
delivery services.
Provide other services including attending meeting requested by the City on
an as -need basis. The fees for the other services will be based on the Hourly
Rates or as agreed.
