2014 Dec 22 - CC MIN SPCSPECIAL MEETING OF THE EL SEGUNDO CITY COUNCIL MONDAY, DECEMBER 22, 2014, 7:00 P.M. CALL TO ORDER — Mayor Fuentes at 7:00 PM ROLL CALL Mayor Fuentes - Present Mayor Pro Tern Jacobson - Present Council Member Atkinson - Present Council Member Fellhauer - Present Council Member Dugan - Present PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS - (Related to City Business Only - 5 minute limit per person, 30 minute limit total). Individuals who have received value of $50 or more to communicate to the City Council on behalf of another, and employees speaking on behalf of their employer, must so identify themselves before addressing the City Council. Failure to do so is a misdemeanor and punishable by a fine of $250. A. SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS (OPEN SESSION): Consideration and possible action regarding acceptance of the terms and conditions from a grant award by Chevron U.S.A., Inc. in the amount of $175,000 to assist in Economic and Business Development within the City of El Segundo over the next two fiscal years. (Fiscal Impact: $175,000 Revenue for the Chevron USA, Inc. Grant Account for FY 2014 -2015 and 2015 -16) MOTION by Mayor Pro Tern, SECONDED by Council Member Fellhauer to authorize the City Manager to execute the Grant Agreement with Chevron U.S.A., Inc. and appropriate grant funding for FY 2014 -15 and 2015 -16 in the Economic Development Grant Fund Account. MOTION PASSED BY UNANIMOUS VOICE VOTE. 4/0 Council Member Dugan removed himself from the vote due to the fact that his is retired from Chevron, USA Inc.
