THIS INDENTURE made this 29th day of December, A.D., 1924, by and
between PACIFIC - SOUTHWEST TRUST & SAVINGS BANK, formerly Los Angeles
Trust & Savings Bank, a corporation organized under the laws of the
State of California, and having its principal place of business at the
City of Los Angeles, County of Los Angeles, State of california, first
party, and the CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, a municipal corporation of the sixth
class, situated in the County of Los Angeles, State of California, second
party,
W I T N E S S E T H:
That the said first party, for and in consideration of the sum of
One Dollar ($1.00), lawful money of the United States of America, to it
in hand paid by the said second party, the receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged, does by these presents grant and convey unto the said
second party, a perpetual easement and right -of -wag for a public street,
in, over, upon and acfoss that certain piece or parcel of land situated,
lying and being in the City of El Segundo, County of Los Angeles, State
of California, described as follows, to -wit:
The North 25 feet of Lot 9, in Block 10, of Tract 1685, in
the City of E1 Segundo, California, as per map of said Tract
recorded in Book 21, at Page 98 of Maps in the office of the
County Recorder of said Los Angeles County, California.
Subject to any taxes, assessments, conditions, restrictions, reser-
II vations,# easements, rights, rights of way and encumbrances of record.
Said property,is to be used for public street purposes only, and
;! in the event that said land, or any portion thereof, is not used for
street purposes, or if after being so used, the same is abandoned for
�I suoh purposes, or vacated as a public street, it shall revert to the
II owners of-the adjoining_property, their heirs, executors, administrators,
successors and assigns.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD all and singular, the said premises unto the
said second party to be used as and for a public street and for no other
purpose.
