Kirby, both successor trustees of the Roland Blakeman Trust REQUEST: A Request to allow the sale and consumption of alcohol for a New Restaurant with a (Type 47 Alcoholic Beverage Control License) PROPERTY INVOLVED: 333 Main Street I. DESCRIPTION The Planning Division received the above referenced application for an Administrative Use Permit (AUP) to allow the sale of beer, wine and distilled spirits for on -site sale and on -site consumption at a bona fide public eating place (Type 47 ABC License). The restaurant is proposed at an existing one -story structure in the 300 block of the Main Street District within the Downtown Specific Plan (DSP) Zone. The restaurant will be approximately 3,345 square feet in area with no outdoor patio. The restaurant will contain a counter bar area, two banquet rooms and general dining seating. The large banquet room will contain 18 seats and the small banquet room will contain 10 seats. The general dining area will have 56 seats and the bar will have 11 seats. The restaurant will contain a total of 95 seats. There is also a 360 square -foot accessory use structure at the rear of the property that will be used for storage. The owner of the restaurant will be requesting a new (Type 47) License from the State of California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control for this establishment, but an AUP is also required since there is no previous business with a license at this location, prior to the adoption of the current code. Section VI.A.4.a. of the El Segundo Downtown Specific Plan, requires an AUP for on -site alcohol consumption at restaurants and similar establishments. � r n,
