130EL SEGUNDO CITY COUNCIL MEETING DATE: November 7, 2007 AGENDA ITEM STATEMENT AGENDA HEADING: Consent Agenda AGENDA DESCRIPTION: Consideration and possible action regarding acceptance of the project for the 2006 -2007 annual contract for curb, gutter, handicap access ramps, sidewalk and other minor improvements at various locations citywide. Approved Capital Improvement Project. Project No.: PW 07 -02. CDBG Project No. 600858 -06 (Final Contract Amount = $189,252.20) RECOMMENDED COUNCIL ACTION: Recommendation — (1) Accept the work as complete; (2) Authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion in the County Recorder's Office; and (3) Alternatively, discuss and take other action related to this item. BACKGROUND & DISCUSSION: On June 5, 2007, the City Council awarded a contract to C.S. Legacy Construction, Inc. in the amount of $182,201.00 for the 2006 -2007 annual contract for curb, gutter, handicap access ramps, sidewalk and other minor improvements at various locations citywide.
