It consists of a single story budding approximately 17,000 square feet and two (2) basements totaling approximately 8,200 square feet The west basement contains the City Attorney and Finance Departments offices, Community Cable Television control room and storage The east basement is primarily utilized for storage, however the City intends to convert some of this area to office space Interior standards (color, texture, etc ) need to be developed for the following items • Furniture, cabinetry, etc • Carpeting • Walls • Window and door treatment (drapes, etc ) The consultant's recommendations should take into consideration the following additional improvements proposed within the City Hall An elevator from the Finance Department area to the west basement including relocation of the West Conference Room on the first floor Lighting and architectural refurbishing of the main hallway area currently exhibiting photographs of previous City Mayors The initial design effort will involve meetings with City staff to evaluate current and future needs in order to develop design standards alternates with cost comparisons.
