WHEREAS, the City of E1 Segundo, a municipal corporation of the State of California, hereinafter called "City," is acquiring an easement for public street purposes in, over and upon the real property described above. NOW THEREFORE, for a valuable consideration, receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, Company does hereby subordinate its interest in said property to the interest and estate therein of City and agrees to hold the interest of Company subject and inferior to the interest and right of City in said land; that in all other respects said estate and interest shall remain in the same Ep W full force and effect as if this agreement had not been entered into, except as hereinafter provided. -2- BK M 1816Pc930 'this agreement is executed upon the following express condition. If, by reason of the exercise by City of any of the rights acquired by it herdkunder, the facilities of Company shall be damaged or destroyed or Company shall be obliged to relocate said facilities, City shall reimburse Company for such damage or destruction or such cost of such relocation.
