R262S T RE E T D E ED THIS INDENTURE, made this /_Qd day of , A. D., 1941, by and between SANTA FE LAND IMPROVEMENT COMPANY, a California Corporation, organized and existing under and by virtue of the laws of the State of California, and having its principal place of business in the City of Los Angeles, Cali- fornia, the party of the first part, and the CITY OF EL SEGUNDO,, a Municipal Corporation, situated in the County of Los Angeles, State of California, second party, - W I T N E S S E T H: That the said first party, for and in consideration of the sum of One Dollar ($1.00), lawful money of the United States of America, to it in hand paid by the second party, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does by these presents grant and convey unto the said second party, *Np� an .easement and /or right of way for a public street, in, over, upon and across those certain pieces or parcels of land situated, lying and being in the City of E1 Segundo, County of Los Angeles, State of California, and particularly described as follows, to -wit: PARCEL #3. A strip of land 15 feet in width in the City of E1 Segundo, Countylof Los Angeles, State of California, being that portion'of the North East Quarter of Section 7, Township 3 South, Range 14 West, in the Rancho Sausal Redondo, as shown on map recorded in Book 1, pages 507 and 508, of Patents, Records of said County and as said Quarter Section is also shown on Map of f.. the Property of K. D. Wise, recorded in Book 70, page 97, Miscellaneous Records of said County, lying south of and adjacent to the southerly line of Imperial High- way as said line is shown as the southerly line of County Road on said Map of the property of K. D. Wise. The above described strip of land is bounded westerly by the easterly line of that certain parcel of land described as Parcel No. 2 in deed of easement to said City, dated June 21, 1939, and recorded in Book 16756, page 115, Official Records of said County, and bounded easterly by the westerly line of that portion of that 1- certain strip of land 60 feet in width, granted to said City for public street and highway purposes as described in deed of easement, dated February 13, 1934, recorded in Book 12672, page 114, Official Records of said County, thereafter named and desig- nated Lapham Street by Resolution No. 300 of the City Council of said City, passed, approved and adopted on February 21, 1934; PARCEL #6. A strip of land 10 feet in width in the City of E1 Segundo, County of Los Angeles, State of California, being that portion of the North East Quarter of Section 7, Township 3 South, Range 14 West, in the Rancho Sausal Redondo, as shown on map recorded in Book 1, pages 507 and 508 of Patents, Records of said County and as said Quarter Section is also shown on Map of the Property of K. D. Wise, recorded in Book 70, page 97, Miscellaneous Records of said County, lying south of and adjacent to the southerly line of Imperial / Highway as said line is shown as the southerly line of County Road on said map of the property of K. D. Wise. The above described land is bounded westerly by the westerly line of said Quarter Section and bounded easterly by the westerly line of that certain parcel of land described in deed to Sperry Gyroscope Company, Incorporated, recorded on December 19, 1939, in Book 17125, page 209, Official Records of said County, said westerly line also being the westerly line of the westerly 5.9 Acre parcel shown on map in Book 37, page 40, Record of Surveys, filed in the office of the Recorder of said County; and PARCEL #7a A strip of land 10 feet in width in the City of E1 Segundo, County of Los Angeles, State of California, being that portion of the North West Quarter of Section 7, Township 3 South, Range 14 West, in the Rancho Sausal Redondo, as shown on map recorded in Book 1, pages 507 and 508, of Patents, Records of said County, lying south of and adjacent to the south- erly line of Imperial Highway, said line also being the southerly line of that certain strip of land 30 feet in width lying within said quarter section, con - veyed to said County by deed recorded in Book 13641, page 287 of Deeds, Records of said County. The above described strip of land is bounded westerly by that certain north easterly course described as bearing 42 - 50' -02" from the South line of the North 301 of Section 7, in the easterly line of land described as Pardel 24 in Final Judgment of Condemnation in Case No. 357580 in the Superior Court of the State of California in and for the County of Los Angeles, recorded on Deoeiper 8, 1934, in Book 13174, page 92, Official Records of said County and bounded easterly by the easterly line of said quarter section, - to be named and known as "Imperial Highway ". 2- The respective properties above described under Parcels Nos. 3, 6 and 7 hereinabove, are respectively de- lineated and shown as Parcels 3, 6 and 7 respectively upon that certain map or plat hereunto attached, designated as "Right of Way Map for the Widening of Imperial Highway between Inglewood and Redondo Road and Sepulveda Boulevard ". Said map is hereby referred to and by this reference in- corporated herein and made a part hereof. Said property is to be used for public street purposes only, and in the event that said land, or any portion thereof, is not used for such purposes, or if after being so used the same is abandoned for such purposes, or vacated as a public street, it shall revert to the owners of the adjoining property, their heirs, executors, adminis- trators, successors and assigns. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD all and singular, the said premises unto the said second party to be used as and for a public street, and for no other purpose.
