Municipal Corporation, situated in the County of Los Angeles,
State of California, second party, -

'mat the said first parties, for and in considera-
tion of the sum of One Dollar 0 1.00), lawful money of the
United States of America, tothem in hand paid by the second
party, t'-.e receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, do by
these presents grant and convey unto the said second party,
a perpetual easement and /or right of -way fora public alley
and thoroughfare, in, over, upon and across that certain
piece or parcel of land situated, lying and being in the City
of El Segundo, County of Los Angeles, State of California,
and particularly described as follows, to -wit:
Beginning at a point on the westerly line of
Lot 5, Block 92, as shown upon E1 Segundo Sheet
Number 4, recorded in Book 20, Page 24 of Paps,
Records of Los Angeles County and on file in the
office of the County Recorder of said County, said
point being 132.50 feet northerly from the south-
westerly corner of said lot; thence easterly along
a line equidistant from and parallel to the north-
erly line of Palm Avenue to its intersection with
the ea -terly line of Lot 6, Blocr;. 92, recorded and
on file as aforesaid; thence northerly along the
easterly line of Lot 6, a distance of 20 feet to a

point; thence westerly along a line equidistant
from and parallel to the northerly line of Palm
Avenue to its intersection with the westerly line
of Lot 5, Block 92, recorded and on file as afore-
said; thence southerly along the westerly line of
said Lot 5, Block 92 to the point of beginning.
Said property is to be used for public alley and
thoroughfare purposes only, and in the event that said land,
or any portion thereof, is not used for such purposes, or if
after being so used the same is abandoned for such purposes,
or vacated as a public alley or thoroughfare, it shall re-
vert to the owners of the adjoining property, their heirs,
executors, administrators, successors and assigns.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD all and singular, the said
premises unto t': -e said second party to be used as and for a
public alley and thoroughfare, and for no other purpose.

CITY COUNCIL OF TIE CITY OF
EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA.
APRIL 24TH, 1940.
"RESOLVED, that that certain Public Alley Deed, from
Doris Marie Patton, a married ?roman, and Elwood G. Lammiman
and Maude V. Lammiman, his wife, dated the 23rd day of April,
1940, conveying to the City of E1 Segundo the following
described real property in the City of El Segundo, County of
Los Angeles, State of California, to -wit:
Beginning at a point on the westerly line of
Lot 5, Block 92, as shown upon El Segundo Sheet
Number 4, recorded in Book 20, Page 24 of Maps,
Records of Los Angeles County and on file in the
office of the County Recorder of said County, said
point being 132.50 feet northerly from the South-
westerly corner of said lot; thence easterly along a

for public alley purposes, be and the same is hereby accepted
by and on behalf of the City of El Segundo;
AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be and
he is hereby authorized and instructed to cause the said deed to
be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles
County, California.
The foregoing resolution was adopted by the following vote:
