RECOMMENDED COUNCIL ACTION: Accept Quitclaim Deed and authorize the Mayor to execute the deed on behalf of the City. INTRODUCTION AND BACKGROUND: On August 16, 1983 the City Council adopted Resolution No. 3224 accepting an irrevocable offer from Chevron U.S.A. to dedicate real property for storm water pump station and retention basin and sewer pipeline purposes. DISCUSSION: The City's storm water pump station and retention basin have been constructed and are currently operational. Chevron has now submitted a Quitclaim Deed for City acceptance, which will formalize the real property dedication. The City Attorney has reviewed and approved the enclosed Quitclaim Deed for execution by the City. ATTACHED SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS: 1. Quitclaim Deed. 2. City Council Resolution No. 3224. 3.
