19 6, by and between JACK R. PRICE and MOLLY PRICE, parties of the first part,
and the CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, a Municipal Corporation of the County of Los Angeles,
State of California, party of the second part, -
NITNESSETH:
That the said parties of the first part, for a valuable consideration, re-
ceipt of which is hereby acknowledged, do by 'these presents grant and convey unto the
said party of the second part, a perpetual easement and right of way for the passage and
repassage of vehicles and persons, for the construction, reconstruction, inspection,
maintenance, operation and repair of drainage facilities, on and over that certain parcel
of land, situated in the City of El Segundo, County of Los Angeles, State of California,
described as follows, to wit:
The easterly 10.00 feat of Lot. 1, Tract 944$, as recorded in
B 133 of Maps, Page 75, in the Office of the County Re-
corder of Los Angeles County, California,
together with the right to said party of the second part to enter upon and to pass and h
repass over and along said strip of land, its officers, agents and employees and by
persons under contract with it and their employees whenever and wherever necessary,
for the purpose of constructing, reconstructing, inspecting, maintaining, operating and U

repairing said drainage facilities. C
In consideration of the foregoing grant, the said party of the second part,
hereby agrees that said parcel shall be rnaintained in its present condition, as near �}
as reasonably possible, and that said Party of the second part further agrees to restore y
any pavement or concrete structures damaged by its operation, and will maintain such
pavement in good, safe, and usable condition.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said easement and right of way unto the
said party of the second part, its successors and assigns, for the purposes and uses here -

On December 4, 1961, Bradford C., Lawson Title Officer, Title
Insurance and Trust Company, advised that in the processing of
Title Company's Order No. 5430284 it was disclosed that the road-
way easement of Jack R. Price and Molly Price, dated December 16,
1956 and recorded in Book 53263 at Page 423 official records of the
County of Los Angeles, is a nullity inasmuch as the Prices were not
owners of the property and it was the intention of the City of El Segundo
to receive from the Prices as easement in Lot 2 which is immediately
adjacent thereto.
