W I T N E S S E T H s
That the said party of the first part, for a valuable consider-
ation, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does by these presents
grant and convey unto the said party of the second part, a perpetual
easement and right of way for the construction, reconstruction, inspection,
maintenance, operation and repair of a pipeline, in, under and along that
certain parcel of land, situated in the City of E1 Segundo, County of Los
Angeles, State of California, described as follows, to wits
The westerly 25.00 feet of Lot 331, Block 123, of El
Segundo Sheet No. 8, as recorded on Pages 106 and 107
of Book 22 of Maps in the Office of the County Recorder
of Los Angeles County, California, -
together with the right to said party of the second part to enter upon
and to pass and repass over and along said strip of land, and to deposit
tools, implements and other material thereon by said party of the second
part, its officers, agents and employees and by persons under contract
with it and their employees whenever and wherever necessary, for the pur-
pose of constructing, reconstructing, inspecting, maintaining, operating
and repairing said pipeline.
In consideration of the foregoing grant, the said party of the
second part hereby agrees that such pipeline shall be constructed in a
good and workmanlike manner, and that upon the completion of said pipeline,
the surface of the land will be restored, as nearly as reasonably possible,
to the same condition in which it was in immediately prior to the con-
struction of said pipeline.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said easement and right* of way unto
the said party of the second part, its successors and assigns, for the
purpose and uses hereinabove set forth.
