COVENANT AND AGREEMENT
REGARDING CROSS -LO'r DRAINAGE EASEMENTS
The undersigned hereby certifies that it is the owner of the real property
located in the City of E1 Segundo. County of Los Angeles, State of California.
described as Parcel 3 of Parcel Map No. 15115 as filed in Book 168, pages 40
and 41 of Parcel Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said county.
In consideration of clearance of condition No. 6, as shown in resolution No.
2097 of the Planning Commission of the City of El Segundo for the creation of
four new parcels by subdivision of said Parcel 3 per proposed Parcel Map No.
16543, which requires that reciprocal agreements for drainage be provided in
accordance with the requirements of the Director of Public Works, the
undersigned hereby covenants and agrees with said City to provide drainage
acceptance easements over said Parcel 3 as described in Exhibit A and shown on
Exhibit B attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. It is
understood that the areas covered by the drainage easement may also be used
for parking, landscaping, various utilities and utility easements and various
other uses which do not obstruct drainage.
This covenant and agreement shall run with the land and shall be binding upon
and inure to the benefit of the present and future owners. encumbrancer.,
their successors. heirs or assignees of said parcel and shall continue in
effect so long as the existing drainage patterns shall remain or unless
otherwise released by authority of the Public Works Department of the City of
E1 Segundo or its successor.
