Commencing at the Northwest corner of the Northeast 1/4 of the
NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 111- Township 3 South, Range 15 West,
S.B.M. in said Rancho Sausal Redondo, said corner being an angle
point in the common boundary line between the Cities of E1 Segundo
and Los Angeles, established June 15a 1917, and described in
Ordinance No. 36557 N.S. of said City of Los Angeles; thence North
89" 541 49" East along the southerly line of said Section 2 a
distance of 154.68 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence North
9" 053 11" West 22.92 feet; thence North 80" 541 49" East 524.53 -
feet; thence easterly along a tangent curve concave to the South, and
having a radius of 2949 feet, an are distance 463.23 feet to a point
of tangency in a line parallel with and distant 141 feet northerly
measured at right angles from said southerly line of Section 2; thence

less to the northerly prolongation of a line parallel with and
distant 40 feet easterly measured at right angles from the easterly

said prolongation 12 feet to a line parallel with and distant 129
feet northerly measured at right angles from said Section line; thence

180.40 feet to a line parallel with and distant 141 feet northerly,

regulation, use and control of water and electrical energy, and
to keep free the said easements and rights of way from
explosives, strictures, brush and wood growth, and combustible
materials, in, under, upon, over and across all of the herein -
before described real property.
ALSO,
EXCEPTING and reserving therefrom all water, water rights,
oil, oil rights, minerals, mineral, rights, natural gas, natural
gas rights, and other hydrocarbons by whatsoever name known,
that may be within or under the parcel of land hereinabove
described, together with the perpetual right of drilling, mining,
exploring, and operating therefor and removing the same from
said land or any other land, including the right to whipstock
or directionally drill and mine from lands other than these
hereinabove described, oil or gas wells, tunnels and shafts
into, through or across the subsurface of the land hereinabove
described, and to bottom such whipstocked or directionally
drilled wells, tunnels and shafts under and beneath or beyond
the exterior limits thereof, and to redrill, retumnel, equip,
maintain, repair, deepen and operate any such wells or mines,
without, however, the right to drill, mine, explore and
operate through the surface or the upper 100 feet of the
subsurface of the land hereinabove described.
AND,
Provided further that the Department of Airports of
The City of Los Angeles and /or the Civil Aeronautics Administration
of the United States shall have the right to enter and re -enter
upon said strip of land-or such portions thereof as are necessary
for the installation, maintenance, repair, removal and operation
of such air navigational aids, obstruction lighting, radar
targets and other like facilities including undergound ducts,
as may now be or hereafter become necessary or desirable for
the safe and efficient operation of the Los Angeles International
Airport,
AND,
Provided further the Department of Airports of The City of
Los Angeles shall not be required to maintain any set back line
other than such set back line as the Board of Airport Commissioners
shall determine is necessary for any and all buildings,
structures and improvements as are authorized to be built by said
Board on that portion of the Los Angeles International Airport
-abutting on Imperial Highway between Sepulveda Boulevard on the
Fast and Vista del Mar on the West.
This conveyance is made subject to the existing easement
and rights of way of Southern California Edison Company, a corpora-
tion, for the installation, maintenance and repair of an electrical
power transmission line, all in accordance with Resolution 433
of the Board of Airport Commissioners and Council File No. 439810
said grant being dated October 2, 1950, recorded December 4, 1950,
in Book 35010, Page 360, of Official Records in the office of
the County Recorder of Los Angeles County.
This grant is made subject to the following
agreements, conditions and restrictions, each of which constitutes
a part of the consideration for the making of this instrument and
to each and all of which the said City of E1Segunde, by the

July 23, 1959, transmitting Grant Deed covering property
between Old and New Imperial Highway.
Moved by Councilman Frederick, seconded by Councilman
Baker, the following resolution be adopted:
RESOLVED, that that certain Grant Deed
executed by Norris Poulson, Mayor of the City
of Los Angeles, dated July 20, 1959, herein -
above referred to, granting to the City of
E1 Segundo the property between Old and New
Imperial Highway, be and the same is hereby
accepted; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk
is hereby authorized to have said deed recorded."

Reserving and excepting, however, the right of the /
Airports Department of the City of Los Angeles to control and
to dedicate, for storm drain purposes, those certain strips
of land located in the above. described portion of said
Section 2, as said strips of land are first described in
Section 2 of Ordinance No. 104,272 of said City of Les Angeles
approved October 25, 1954;
ALSO,
Reserving and excepting, however, to the City of
Los Angeles that certain right of way and perpetual easement
for the construction and maintenance of an outfall sewer
located in the above described portion of said Section 20
as said right of way and perpetual easement is described in
deed recorded in Book 2383 Page 215, of Deeds, in the
office of the County Recorder of said County;
AND,
Provided, further, that the City of Los Angeles shall
have the right to use for sanitary, sewer or outfall sewer
purposes that portion of the southerly roadway of Imperial
Highway included within a strip of land 15 feet wide, extending
from the westerly line of said above described portion of
said Section 2, and the southerly prolongation of said westerly
line, to the easterly line of the easement conveyed to the
City of Los Angeles and described in deed recorded in Book
2383, Page 21% of Deeds, in the office of said County Recorder,
and lying 7.5 feet on each side of the common boundary line
of the Cities of Los Angeles and R1 Segundo established June 15,
1917 and described in Ordinance No. 36557 N.S. of said City
of Les Angeles;
AND,
Provided, further, that the Southern California
Edison Company shall have the right to use for the construction
of transition facilities that portion of the above described
portions of said Sections 1 and 2 bounded and described as
follows:
Beginning at a point in the West line of said Section 10
said point being northerly 48.00 feet, measured along said
West line, from the Southwest corner of said Section 1; thence
easterly at right angles to said West line 51.00 feet; thence
northerly at right angles to said last mentioned course 93.00
feet; thence westerly parallel with the South line of said
Section 1 to said West line, and continuing westerly parallel
with the South line of said Section 2 a total distance of 143
feet; thence southerly parallel with said West line 93.00 feet;
thence easterly in a direct line 92.00 feet to the point of
beginning.
AND,
Reserving and excepting however, to The City of Los Angeles,
those permanent easements and rights of way, at any time and
from time to time, to constrict, reconstruct, maintain, operate,
repair, renew, enlarge, remove and replace a line or lines of
pipe of whatever nature, vaults, manholes, laterals, service'
and distribution oonnections, a line orllnes of poles, cables,
wires, cross -arms, overhead and undergound conduits and duets,
and other similar and like strictures, together with any other
appendages, fixtures, strictures or equipment incidental or
otherwise necessary or convenient, for the purpose of transporting,
conveying, distributing, and for the transmission, distribution,
