M051ADMINISTRATOR'S DEED THIS INDENTURE, made on the /;7 day of 19, by and between CHARLES L. BLEK, as the duly appointed, qualified, and acting administrator of the estate of William L. Tracy, Deceased, late of Berkshire County, Massachusetts, the party of the first part, and the City of El Segundo, a municipal corporation of the sixth class, located in the County of Los Angeles, State of California, the party of the second part, W I T N E S S E T H• That, whereas, pursuant to legal notices given thereof, the said party of the first part on the 14th day of March, 1946, at the time and place and in the manner specified in said notices, did offer for sale and sell, subject to confirmation by the Superior Court of the County of Los Angeles, State of California, to the party of the second part, the said real estate hereinafter particularly described for the sum of Eleven Hundred Dollars ($1100), they being the highest and best bidders, and that being the highest and best sum bid; and Whereas, the said Superior Court, upon the due and after due notice of hearing on said return given, did, on the 4th day of April, 1946, make an order decree- ing said sale to be valid and confirming said sale, and directing a conveyance to be executed to the said party of the second part, a certified copy of which order of confirmation was recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Los Angeles, within which the said land sold is situate, on the � day of , tq 1946, which said order of confirmation is now on file and of record in said Los Angeles County, which said record thereof in said Recorder's office is hereby referred to for greater certainty, NOW, THEREFORE, the said Charles L. Blek, as administrator of the estate of William L. Tracy, Deceased, as aforesaid, the party of the first part, pursuant to the order aforesaid,of the said Superior Court, for and in consideration of the sum of Eleven Hundred Dollars ($1100) to him in hand paid by the party of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, has granted, bargained, sold and conveyed, and by these presents does grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said party of the second part, its successors and assigns forever, all the right, title, interest and estate of the said William L. Tracy, Deceased, at the time of his death, and also all the right, title, and interest that the said estate, by operation of law or otherwise, may have acquired, other than or in addition to that of said intestate at the time of his 9 death, in and to all that certain lot, piece, or parcel of land lying and being in said County of Los Angeles, State of California, and bounded and particularly described as follows, to -wit: Lot 16, Block 42, Sheet 3, E1 Segundo, in the County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per map recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Los Angeles, State of California, in Book 20, Page 22 and 23 of Maps. Lot 17, Block 42, Sheet 3, E1 Segundo, in the County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per map recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Los Angeles, State of California, in Book 20, Page 22 and 23 of Maps. together with all the tenements, hereditaments, and appur- tenances, whatsoever to the same belonging, or in anywise appertaining. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD, all and singular, the above mentioned and described premises, together with the ap- purtenances, unto the said party of the second part, its successors and assigns, forever.
