GRANT OF EASEMENT
FOR SIDEWALK PURPOSES
FOR A VALUABLE CONSIDERATION, receipt of which is
hereby acknowledged, WALNUT PLAZA LTD., a California limited
partnership (hereinafter "Grantor "), owner of the the real
property hereinafter described, does hereby grant to the CITY OF
EL SEGUNDO, a municipal corporation, located in the County of Los
Angeles, State of California, an easement and right -of -way for
public sidewalk purposes, in, over, upon and across the real
property in the City of E1 Segundo, County of Los Angeles, State
of California, described as:
That portion of Lots 4 and 5, Block 107, E1 Segundo
Tract, in the City of E1 Segundo as shown on map filed
in Book 20 Pages 114 and 115 of maps in the office
of the Recorder of the County of Los Angeles within
a strip of land 6.00 feet wide lying northerly of
the following described line:
Commencing at the northwest corner of said Lot 5;
thence along the westerly boundary of said Lot 5
south 6.00 feet to the true point of beginning being
a point in a line parallel with and 6.00 feet southerly
measured at right angles from the northerly boundary
of said Lots 4 and 5; thence south 89° 58' 50" east
233.82 feet along said parallel line to the easterly
boundary of said Lot 4.
Said above described land is to be used for public
sidewalk purposes only, and in the event that said land is not
used for public sidewalk purposes, or if after being so used, the
same is abandoned for such purposes and vacated as a public
sidewalk, it shall revert to the owners of the adjoining
property, their heirs, executors, administrators, successors and
assigns.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD all and singular, the said premises
unto the City of E1 Segundo, its successors and assigns, as and
for a public sidewalk and for no other purpose.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, said Grantor has executed this
Grant of Easement for Sidewalk Purposes this 17th day of October
1986.
