Glickman, Director of Public Works Subl *o: Request for Council Action - Recommendation Regarding Approval of Quitclaim Deed for Sewer and Utility Purposes - Parcel Hap No. 7364 - Northeast Corner E1 Segundo Boulevard and Nash Street - Molokai California Limited. The City has received a request from Molokai California Limited, owners of the subject property, through its consultant Jennings Engineering Company, to quit claim a sewer and utility easement across its property, (i.e. parcel 4 of Parcel Map No. 7364) which easement was originally granted to the City on Tract Map No. 32178. The subject easement was intended to serve Lot 9 of Tract No. 32178. (See attached map) The resubdivision of Tract No. 32178 by Parcel Map No. 7364 eliminated the need for this easement insofar as parcel 4 is concerned. This office has no objection to granting the request. The City Attorney has prepared a document to accomplish the requested quit claim by the City. It is recommended that the City Council approve the quitclaiming of the subject easement and authorize the Mayor to execute the document and the City Clerk to attest.
