QUITCLAIM DEED
IN CONSIDERATION OF $100.00, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged,
the CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, a municipal corporation, located in the County of
Los Angeles, State of California, does hereby remise, release and forever
quitclaim to MOLOKAI CALIFORNIA LIMITED, a California Corporation, that
certain easement for sewer and utility purposes, granted to the City of El Segundo
by Sepulveda Properties, Inc., as shown on Parcel Map No. 7364 recorded in
Book 74, pages 41 and 1_2 of Parcel Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of
Los Angeles County, California, insofar as said easement pertains to and affects
the following described real property located in the City of El Segundo, County of
Los Angeles, State of California, to wit:
A 10.00 foot wide easement for sanitary sewer,--and utility
purposes located in the City of El Segundo across a portion of
Parcel 4 of Pa -reel Map No. 7364 recorded in Book 74 pages 41
and 42 of Parcel Maps, in the office of the County Recorder,
County of Los Angeles, State of California, the centerline of
which is described as follows:
Beginning at the southeast corner of said Parcel 4, THENCE
North 0 °00'23 " west along the easterly line of said Parcel 4
a distance of 21".00 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING;
THENCE North 89 055'25" west a distance of 95.00 feet;
THENCE South 45004'35" west a distance of 26. 87 feet.
The effect of this Deed is the quitclaiming of said easement only over
said above - described property only, and this Deed is to be given no further,
other or different effecr.
The effect of ti.is Deed is the quitclaiming of said easement to the
owner or owners of the underlying fee only and this Deed is to be given no

Subl *o: Request for Council Action - Recommendation Regarding Approval
of Quitclaim Deed for Sewer and Utility Purposes - Parcel Hap
No. 7364 - Northeast Corner E1 Segundo Boulevard and Nash Street -
Molokai California Limited.
The City has received a request from Molokai California Limited,
owners of the subject property, through its consultant Jennings
Engineering Company, to quit claim a sewer and utility easement
across its property, (i.e. parcel 4 of Parcel Map No. 7364)
which easement was originally granted to the City on Tract Map
No. 32178. The subject easement was intended to serve Lot 9 of
Tract No. 32178. (See attached map) The resubdivision of Tract
No. 32178 by Parcel Map No. 7364 eliminated the need for this
easement insofar as parcel 4 is concerned.
This office has no objection to granting the request. The City
Attorney has prepared a document to accomplish the requested
quit claim by the City.
It is recommended that the City Council approve the quitclaiming
of the subject easement and authorize the Mayor to execute the
document and the City Clerk to attest.
