A124TJM f?M{p�}TORa CITY OF EL S GUNDOs a municipal corporation, hereby grants to SOUTHERN 0 RRIA EDISON COMPANY, a corporation, its successors and assigns, the right to oonstvuet, uses maintain, alter, add to, repair, replace and/or remove in, on, under and over the real property hereinafter described, situated in the County of Lois Angeles, State of California, an electric system consisting of underground conduits and a transformer vault, 10 feet by 16.5 feet in size, together with the sires therein . and other fixtures and appliances for conveying electric energy to be used for light, heat, powers telephone and/or other purposes. The grantee shall have the right to place and maintain in said underground conduits and on said transformer vault as many wires and other necessary appliances as it shall desire to do in the conduct of its business. Said underground conduit shall be installed and maintained within a strip m 4 of land, 4 feet in width,, lying within a portion of Holly !Avenue, a vacated 6 " z street, adjacent on the south to Lot 40 in Block 62 of El Segundo Sheet #70 a tl as per map recorded in Book 22, Pages X14 and 55 of Mapes in the office of the County Recorder of said County of Los Angeles, the centerline of said e strip being described as followss e _ Beginning at a point in the westerly line of Sheldon Street, as =3e now established, distant southerly 600 feet from the intersection of said a o westerly line with the southerly line of Pine Street, as now established; thence westerly, at right angles to said westerly line, 80 feet to a point herein after referred to as "Point A% a�'o Said transformer vault shall be located on a rectangular parcel of land, ©i J; 10 feet in width by 18.5 feet in length, lying within the above said 1rantor4s s w property; the eanterline of said parcel being described as followst Beginning at the above said Point A; thence westerly 16.5 feet, The Grantee# its successors and assigns, and its employees and agents, shall at any time when necessary and at all reasonable times have free access to said underground facilities, transformer vault and all portions thereof, for the purpose of exercising the rights herein granted, provided, however, that in making any excavation on any part of said property of the Grantors the Grantee, herein shall make the same in such a manner as will cause the least injury to the surface of the earth around such excavation and shall replace the earth so removed by it in as near the same condition as it was prior to such excavation as is possible.
