QUITCLAIM DEED
IN CONSIDERATION of 35.00, receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged, the CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, a municipal corporation,
located in the County of Los Angeles, State of California, does
hereby remise, release, and forever quitclaim to HERBERT CARBUTT
and VERA A. CARBUTT, husband and wife as joint tenants, that cer-
tain easement for pipes and conduits for the distribution of water,
as granted in a deed t;p'Sausal Redondo Water Company recorded
prior to February 15, 1950, in Book 6770, Page 285 of Official
Records of Los Angeles County, California, (of which said ease-
ment said City of E1 Segundo, by mesne assignments of record is
now the owner) insofar as said easement pertains to and affects
the following described real property located in the City of El
Segundo, County of Los Angeles, State of California, only, to wit;
The Southerly 46 feet of the North 205 feet of
Lot 1, Block 10, Tract 1685; as per map recorded
in Book 21, Page 98 of Maps, on file in the of-
fice of the Recorder of Los Angeles County, Cali-
fornia.
The effect of this deed is the quitclaiming of the said
easement only over said above described property only, and this
deed is to be given no further, other or different effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the said City of El Segundo has here-
unto caused its corporate name and seal to be hereunto subscribed
and affixed by its proper officers first thereunto duly authorized.

We, Herbert Carbutt and Vera A. Carbutt, respectfully re-
quest that your Honorable Body issue a quitclaim deed
quitclaiming your right, title and interest to a certain
water line easement, as granted in a deed by Sausal Redon-
do Water Company, recorded prior to February 15, 1950, in
Book 6770, Page 2$5 of Official Records of Los Angeles
County, California, covering the following described prop-
erty:
The Southerly 46 feet of the North 205 feet of
Lot 1, Block 10, Tract 1685, as per map recorded
in Book 21, Page 98 of Maps, on file in the of-
fice of the County Recorder of Los Angeles Coun-
ty, California.
Enclosed is $5.00 to cover the cost of issuing said quit-
claim.
