IN CONSIDERATION OF $5.00, receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged, the CITY OF EL SEOUNDO, a municipal corporation,
located in the County of Loa Angeles, State of California, does
hereby remise, release, and forever quitclaim to PHILIP W. BRI-
LEY and 1.1ARY J. BAILEY, husband and wife as joint tenants, that
certain easement for pipes and conduits for the distribution of
water as granted in a deed to Arena Water Company, a corporation,
recorded in Book 5505, Page 894, of Deeds, of Loa Angeles County,
California, (of which said easement said City of E1 Segundo, by
means assignments of record is now the owner) insofar as said
easement pertains to and affects the following described real
property located in the City of El. Segundo, County of Los Ange-
les, State of California, only, to wit:
The Easterly one -half of Lot 10, in Block 96
of ill Segundo as per snap recorded in Book i6a
Pages 22 and 13 of Wisps, in the office of the
County Recorder of Loa Angeles County, Cali-
fornia, EXCEPT the Southerly 162.5 feet thereof.
The effect of this deed is the quitclaiming of the said
easement only over said above described property only, and this
deed is to be given no further, other or different effect,
IN WITNESS *HEREOF, the said City of El Segundo has here-
unto caused its corporate name and seal to be hereunto subscribed
and affixed by its proper officers first thereunto duly authorized.

Pursuant to our telephone conversation, we enclose our check No. 17724
in the amount of $5.00, to cover expense for Quitclaim Deed on an ease-
ment over said land, as granted to the Arena Water Company, a corporation
by deed recorded in book 5505 page 294 of Deeds.
The property described as follows: The Easterly one -half of lot 10 in block
96 of E1 Segundo, in the city of E1 Segundo, county of Los Angeles, as per
map recorded in book 20 pages 22 and 23 of Maps, in the office of the county
recorder of said county. EXCEPT the southerly 162.5 feet thereof, is being
sold to Philip W. Briley and Mary J. Briley, husband and wife as joint tenants.
