It is respectfully requested that your Honorable Body grant to
Cleatus Baldwin and Nancy Baldwin, all mineral rights reserved by the City
of El Segundo in a deed recorded December 14, 1955, in Document 155, in
Book 49786, Page 38, of Official Records) for property described as follows:
Lot 3, Block 122, El Segundo Sheet No, 7, Map Book 22,
Pages 54 and 55, in the office of the County Recorder of
Los Angeles County,

2. That Claim for Damages against the City of El Se-
Fundo by Jo Ann Peitz, 448 West Maple Avenue, in aount of
w50,000 had been filed and that a copy of said claim had been
forwarded to the City's insurance carrier.
Moved by Councilman Frederick, seconded by Council-
man Gordon, that said clairi be denied and the action of the
Clerk in forwarding copy to the insurance carrier is hereby
approved. Motion was unanimously carried.
3. Request for Quitclaim Deed from Walter L. Voeglti
and Gertrude S. Voeglti for the City's interest in a waterline
easement as granted to Arena Water Company (by assignments or
record the city is now the owner) over a portion of Lot 52
Block 93•
Moved-by Councilman Frederick, seconded by Councilman
Baker, the following resolution be adopted:

..3, referred to in the hereinabove request is no longer 11
needed - -by" "the Cit=y, -o£ El Segundo,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and
the City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and in-
structed to execute a Quitclaim Deed for said easement
from the City to Walter L. Voeglti and Gertrude S. Voegl-
ti, as joint tenants.

and Mayor -- Benfield
Noes: Councilmen 'done

4. That she was in receipt of a request from Cleatus
Baldwin that the City relinquish any right it might have to the
mineral rights on Lot 3, Block 122, in order that a clear title
to subject property might be obtained.
Moved by Councilman Frederick, seconded by Councilman
Aleschulc, that the request of Cleat
us Bald.✓in be granted and the
Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute, on behalf
of the City, the necessary document,or instrument to accomplish
said purpose.
