A069QUITCLAIM DEED
IN CONSIDERATION of $5.00, receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged, the CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, a municipal corporation
of the sixth class, located in the County of Los Angeles, State
of California, whose address is City Hall, 203 Richmond Street,
E1 Segundo, California, does hereby remise, release and for-
ever quitclaim to CHARLES J. LINDSAY and P. ELIZABETH LINDSAY,
his wife, as point tenants, of 628 West Oak Avenue, E1 Segundo,
California, that certain easement for pipes and conduits for
the distribution of water,as reserved to Sausal Redondo Water
Company No. 1 in a deed from Los Angeles Trust and Savings
Hank recorded prior to February 15, 1950, in Book 6784, Page
212 of Official Records of Los Angeles County, California, (of
which said easement said City of El Segundo, by mesne assign-
ments of record is now the owner) insofar as said easement
pertains to and affects the following described real property
located in the City of E1 Segundo, County of Los Angeles, State
of California, only, to wit:
The south 140 feet of the west one -half of
Lot 5,in Block 9, Tract 1685, E1 Segundo,
as per map recorded in Book 21, Page 98 of
Maps, on file in the office of the County
Recorder of Los Angeles County, California.
The effect of this deed is the quitclaiming of the
said easement only over said above described property only, and
this deed is to be given no further, other or different effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the said City of E1 Segundo has
hereunto caused its corporate name and seal to be hereunto
subscribed and affixed by its proper officers first thereunto
duly authorized.

Dear Sir:
With reference to your request for quitclaim deed to the
water easement on the South 140 feet of the westerly 1/2 of
Lot 5, Block 9, Tract 1685, E1 Segiuzdo, it will be necessary
for you to bring your Title Policy to th ;s office in order
for this office to complete the information necessary for
the issuance of the quitclaim deed.
If the Title Policy is not available, we must have the refer-
ence to the recordation date of the easement to the water
company and the name of the water company -- whether Arena
Water Company or Sausal- Redondo 'dater Company.
I trust you will find it convenient to supply this informa-
tion before Wednesday, so that your request may be acted upon
by the members of Council which meets on that day.
