TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT
For a valuable consideration, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, INNKEEPERS
SUMMERFIELD GENERAL II, L.P., a Virginia limited partnership, does hereby grant to the CITY OF
EL SEGUNDO, a municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as "Grantee," a temporary construction area
easement in, on, over, and across all the real property in the City of El Segundo, County of Los Angeles,
State of California, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof.
Together with the further right to enter upon, pass, and repass over and along said easement and
right of way and to deposit tools, implements, and other materials thereon by said Grantee, its officers,
agents, and employees, and by persons under contract with it and their employees, whenever and wherever
necessary for the purposes above set forth.
Said temporary construction area easement shall commence with the date that the contract for
Douglas Street Gap Closure /Grade Separation is let, and shall cease and terminate 24 months thereafter.

That portion of Parcel 2, as shown on map filed in Book 208, pages 60 and 61, of Parcel
Maps, in the office of the Recorder of the County of Los Angeles, within a strip of land 5
feet wide, the northerly and northwesterly sidelines of said strip being the southerly and
southeasterly sidelines of a strip of land 15 feet wide, the northerly and northwesterly lines
of said 15 -foot strip of land being those certain courses shown as having bearings and
distances of N 89 059'50" E 217.93 feet and N 42 °31'11" E 73.57 feet in the generally
northerly boundary of said Parcel 2.
The southerly and southeasterly sidelines of the above - described 5 -foot strip of land shall
be prolonged so as to terminate at their point of intersection.
