CONTRACT 3572A Amendment3572 P°. • a FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT NUMBER C- 109619 OF CITY OF LOS ANGELES CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LOS ANGELES AND THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO THIS FIRST AMENDMENT to Agreement Number C- 109619 of City of Los Angeles Contract is made and entered into by and between the City of Los Angeles, a municipal corporation (hereinafter called the "City, "), and City of El Segundo, a municipal corporation (hereinafter called "City of El Segundo' or "Contractor "). WITNESSETH WHEREAS, the City and the City of El Segundo have entered into an Agreement wherein City of El Segundo shall provide certain services, and the city shall pay for them using grant funds from the Urban Area Security Initiative ( "UASI ") for year 2005, said Agreement effective October 1, 2004, shall hereinafter be referred to as the Agreement; and WHEREAS, Section §505 of the Agreement provides for amendments to the Agreement; and WHEREAS, the City and the City of El Segundo are desirous of amending the Agreement as authorized by Section 14.8 of the Los Angeles Administrative Code which authorizes the City to prepare and execute an amendment to the Agreement for the purpose of. (a) adding an additional three (3) months for a new ending date of March 31, 2007; and (b) making minor revisions to the budget and (c) making such other changes as are required in connection with the foregoing, all as detailed elsewhere in this Agreement; and WHEREAS, this Amendment is necessary and proper to continue and /or complete certain activities authorized under the Agreement. NOW, THEREFORE, the City and the City of El Segundo agree that the Agreement be amended upon execution as follows: First Amendment for UASI `05: City of Los Angeles & City of El Segundo 2/07 .. AMENDMENT § 1. Amend Section 201 Time of Performance by deleting the current ending date of December 31, 2006, and replacing it with the new ending date of March 31, 2007. This amendment adds an additional three (3) months. §2. Amend Exhibit D, Contractor's Authorized Expenditures, by deleting $26,400 from line item 1, Training: Provides USAR Personnel with Increased Training Skills Necessary to Manage and Coordinate USAR Incident Scenes, and replacing it with the new amount of $6,254. This amendment subtracts $20,146 from line item 1. §3. Amend Exhibit D, Contractor's Authorized Expenditures, by deleting $33,375 from line item 4, Training: Provides USAR Personnel with Increased Training Skills Necessary to Manage and Coordinate USAR Incident Scenes, and replacing it with the new amount of $15,669. This amendment subtracts $17,706 from line item 4. §4. Amend Exhibit D, Contractor's Authorized Expenditures, by deleting $60,750 from line item 6, Training: Provides USAR Personnel with Increased Training Skills Necessary to Manage and Coordinate USAR Incident Scenes, and replacing it with the new amount of $17,856. This amendment subtracts $42,894 from line item 6. §5. Amend Exhibit D, Contractor's Authorized Expenditures, by deleting $24,750 from line item 8, Training: Provides USAR Personnel with Increased Training Skills Necessary to Manage and Coordinate USAR Incident Scenes, and replacing it with the new amount of $7,518. This amendment subtracts $17,232 from line item 8. §6. Amend Exhibit D, Contractor's Authorized Expenditures, by deleting $2,500 from line item 210, EOC Basic Equipment, and replacing it with the new amount of $2,098. This amendment subtracts $402 from line item 210. §7. Amend Exhibit D, Contractor's Authorized Expenditures, by deleting line item 9, Training: Will Provide 1 Member from Each Platoon with TTT Course and Ability to Teach Personnel Within Each Platoon, $7,200. Amend Exhibit D, Contractor's Authorized Expenditures, by deleting line item 10, Training: Will Provide 6 Staff Unified command and ICS Operation Course and Certifications, $14,400. This amendment deletes line item 10 and subtracts $14,400 from line item 10. §9. Amend Exhibit D, Contractor's Authorized Expenditures, by deleting line iteml 1, Training: Will Provide 1 Member from Each Platoon with WMD Technical Training and Certification, $11,200. This amendment deletes line item 11 and subtracts $11,200 from line item 11. §10. Amend Exhibit D, Contractor's Authorized Expenditures, by adding line item 247, Mobile Display Terminals, $11,908. This amendment adds $11,908 to new line item 247. § 11. Amend Exhibit D, Contractor's Authorized Expenditures, by adding line item 248, Bridging/Patching, $3,912. This amendment adds $3,912 to new line item 248. § 12. Amend Exhibit D, Contractor's Authorized Expenditures, by adding line item 249, Portable Radios, $115,360. This amendment adds $115,360 to new line item 249. §13. Except as herein amended, all terms and conditions of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect. § 14. This Amendment is executed in two (2) duplicate originals, each of which is deemed to be an original. This Amendment includes four (4) pages which constitute the entire understanding and agreement of the parties.
