CONTRACT 3407 B Amendment. . SECOND AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT NUMBER C- 107591 OF CITY OF LOS ANGELES CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LOS ANGELES AND THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO THIS SECOND AMENDMENT to Agreement Number C- 107591 of City of Los Angeles Contract is made and entered into by and between the City of Los Angeles, a municipal corporation (hereinafter called the "City, "), and City of El Segundo, a municipal corporation (hereinafter called "City of El Segundo' or "Contractor "). WITNESSETH WHEREAS, the City and the City of El Segundo have entered into an Agreement wherein City of El Segundo shall provide certain services, said Agreement effective August 17, 2004 shall hereinafter be referred to as the Agreement; and WHEREAS, Section §505 of the Agreement provides for amendments to the Agreement; and WHEREAS, the City and the City of El Segundo are desirous of amending the Agreement as authorized by Section 14.8 of the Los Angeles Administrative Code which authorizes the City to prepare and execute an amendment to the Agreement for the purpose of: (a) making minor revisions to the budget; and (b) making such other changes as are required in connection with the foregoing, all as detailed elsewhere in this Agreement; and WHEREAS, this Amendment is necessary and proper to continue and /or complete certain activities authorized under the Agreement. NOW, THEREFORE, the City and the City of El Segundo agree that the Agreement be amended upon execution as follows: Second Amendment for UASI `04: 1 09/06 City of Los Angeles & City of El Segundo 31407-4 AMENDMENT §1. Amend Exhibit F, Contractor's Authorized Expenditures, by deleting line item 16, Automated Notification /Recall System, $8,000. This amendment deletes line item 16. §2. Amend Exhibit F, Contractor's Authorized Expenditures, by deleting $108,456 from line item 24, Public Alert: Auto Alert Beacons and Message Signs and replacing it with the new amount of $35,456. This amendment subtracts $73,000 from line item 24, Public Alert: Auto Alert Beacons and Message Signs. §3. Amend Exhibit F, Contractor's Authorized Expenditures, by deleting line item 25, Public Alert: Additional Message Sign, $13,600. This amendment deletes line item 25. §4. Amend Exhibit F, Contractor's Authorized Expenditures, by deleting line item 60, Training, $2,165. This amendment deletes line item 60. §5. Amend Exhibit F, Contractor's Authorized Expenditures, by deleting $19,485 from line item 146 and replacing it with the new amount of $12,556.46. This amendment subtracts $6,928.54 from line item 146. §6. Amend Exhibit F, Contractor's Authorized Expenditures, by deleting $80,000 from line item 151 and replacing it with the new amount of $183,693.54. This amendment adds a total of $103,693.54 from line items 16, 24, 25, 60 and 146 to line item 151. §7. Except as herein amended, all terms and conditions of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect. §8. This Amendment is executed in two (2) duplicate originals, each of which is deemed to be an original. This Amendment includes three (3) pages which constitute the entire understanding and agreement of the parties.
