ORDINANCE 1012:i 4 IS ORDINANCE NO. 107 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 20 (THE COMPRE- HENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE) OF THE EL SEGUNDO MUNICIPAL CODE BY AMENDING THE ZONING MAP REFERRED TO IN SECTION 20.16.030 OF SAID CODE. (ZONE CHANGE 2 -81) THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That Title 20 (The Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance) of the "E1 Segundo Municipal Code," and in particular the "Zoning Map of the City of E1 Segundo" on file in the Planning Department, be and the same is hereby amended by reclassifying and rezoning in the manner hereinafter set forth, the following described real property located within the City of E1 Segundo, County of Los Angeles, State of California, to wit: PARCEL 1 An area commonly known as the vacated Southern Pacific Railroad right -of -way, legally described as follows: All that portion of Parcel 3, Parcel Map No. 7707 recorded in Book 100, Page 78 of Parcel Maps in the Office of the County Recorder, County of Los Angeles, State of California, lying northeasterly of the following described line: BEGINNING at a point in the northerly line of said Parcel 3, located 8.47 feet easterly of the Northwest corner of said Parcel 3; THENCE southeasterly along a curve, concave southwesterly having a r$dius of 1400.69 feet through a central angle of 8 32'36" an arc length of 208.86 feet more or less to a point in the southeasterly line of said Parcel 3, said point being 23.86 feet southwesterly from the Southeast corner of said Parcel 3; and All that portion of vacated E1 Segundo Boulevard (for- merly a portion of Lot 434, Block 123, Sheet 8 El Segundo, as recorded in Book 22, Pages 106 and 107 of Maps in the Office of the County Recorder, County of Los Angeles, State of California), lying northeasterly of the southwesterly line of said Lot 434, vacated by Resolution No. 2932, adopted by the City Council of the City of E1 Segundo on July 3, 1979, from unclassified property to Special Commercial District (C- 3) Zone. PARCEL IA 5409 An area commonly known as a vacated portion of E1 Segundo Boulevard, legally described as follows: All that portion of vacated E1 Segundo Boulevard (for- merly a portion of Lots 409 and 410, Block 123, Sheet 8 El Segundo as recorded in Book 22, Pages 106 and 107 of Maps in the Office of the County Recorder, County of Los Angeles, State of California) lying southwesterly of the northeasterly line of said Lot 410, vacated by Resolution No. 2932, adopted by the City Council of the City of El Segundo on July 3, 1979, from unclassified property to Light Manufacturing (M -1) Zone. PARCEL 2 An area commonly known as the vacated railroad right - of -way and the area generally located between the railroad right -of -way and Illinois Street, South of Franklin Avenue, legally described as follows: All of Parcel 2, Parcel Map No. 7707 recorded in Book 100, Page 78 of Parcel Maps in the Office of the County Recorder, County of Los Angeles, State of California, from Unclassified Property and Light Manufacturing (M -1) Zone to Public Facilities (P -F) Zone. PARCEL 3 An area commonly known as the vacated railroad right - of -way, generally located between Franklin Avenue and Holly Avenue, legally described as follows: All that portion of Parcel 4, Parcel Map No. 7707 recorded in Book 100, Page 78 of Parcel Maps in the Office of the County Recorder, County of Los Angeles, State of California, lying southwesterly of a line parallel to and 40.00 feet northeasterly of the south- westerly line of said Parcel 4; and All those portions of Parcel 1 and Parcel 3, Parcel Map No. 10427 recorded in Book 113, Page 25 of Parcel Maps in the Office of the County Recorder, County of Los Angeles, State of California, lying northeasterly of a line parallel to and 40.00 feet southwesterly of the northeasterly line of said Parcel 1 and said Parcel 3; and All that portion of Parcel 2 of said Parcel Map No. 10427 lying southwesterly of a line parallel to and 40.00 feet northeasterly of the southwesterly line of said Parcel 2; and All that portion of Parcel 3 of said Parcel Map No. 10427 encompassing vacated Illinois Street and Franklin Avenue (formerly a portion of Lot 345, Block 123, Sheet 8 E1 Segundo as recorded in Book 22, Pages 106 and 107 of Maps in the Office of the County Recorder, -2- .5 410 County of Los Angeles, State of California) vacated by Resolution No. 2839, adopted by the City Council of the City of E1 Segundo on March 21, 1978; and All that portion of Parcel 1 of Parcel Map No. 7197 . recorded in Book 110, Pages 96 and 97 of Parcel Maps in the Office of the County Recorder, County of Los Angeles, State of California, lying southwesterly of the southeasterly prolongation of the northeasterly line of Lot 434, Block 123, El Segundo as recorded in Book 22, Pages 106 and 107 of Maps in the Office of said County Recorder as shown on said Parcel Map No. 7197; and All those portions of Parcel 2 and Parcel 3 of Parcel Map No. 7196 recorded in Book 113, Pages 23 and 24 of Parcel Maps in the Office of the County Recorder, County of Los Angeles, State of Californa, lying north- easterly of a line parallel to and 80.00 feet south- westerly of the northeasterly line of said Parcel 2, shown having a bearing of North 54009112" West and the northeasterly line of said Parcel 3, from unclassified property to Light Manufacturing (M -1) Zone. PARCEL 4 An area commonly known as the vacated railroad right - of -way generally located between Oregon Street and Nevada Street, legally described as follows: All that portion of Parcel 1 of Parcel Map No. 7196 recorded in Book 113, Pages 23 and 24 of Parcel Maps in the Office of the County Recorder, County of Los Angeles, State of California, lying northeasterly of a line parallel to and 80.00 feet southwesterly of the northeasterly line of said Parcel 1, from unclassified property to Public Facilities (P -F) Zone. PARCEL 5 An area commonly known as the vacated railroad right - of -way and an abandoned City sump, generally located South of Pine Avenue, legally described as follows: All of Parcel 4 of Parcel Map No. 7196 recorded in Book 113, Pages 23 and 24 of Parcel Maps in the Office of the County Recorder, County of Los Angeles, State of California; and Lot 4 and the northerly 89.65 feet of Lot 5 and the northerly 122.60 feet of Lot 52, all in Block 123, Sheet 8 E1 Segundo as recorded in Book 22, Pages 106 and 107 of Maps in the Office of the County Recorder, County of Los Angeles, State of California; and All that portion of vacated Pine Avenue (formerly a portion of Lots 3 and 434, Block 123, Sheet 8 E1 Segundo as recorded in Book 22, Pages 106 and 107 of Maps in the Office of the County Recorder, County of Los Angeles, State of California) vacated by Resolution No. 2999, -3- F;411 adopted by the City Council of the City of E1 Segundo on June 3, 1980, from unclassified property and Public Facilities (P -P) Zone to Residential -1 (R -1) Zone. PARCEL 6 An area commonly known as the vacated railroad right - of -way, generally located at the corner of Pine Avenue and Center Street, legally described as follows: All that portion of Lot 343, Block 123, Sheet 8 E1 Segundo as recorded in Book 22, Pages 106 and 107 of Maps in the Office of the County Recorder, County of Los Angeles, State of California, lying northerly of the westerly prolongation of a line parallel to and 25.00 feet northerly of the southerly line of Lot 3, said Block 123, from unclassified property to General Commercial (C -2) Zone. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective at midnight on the thirtieth day from and after date of final passage and adoption thereof. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify the passage and adoption of this ordinance; shall cause the same to be entered in the book of original ordinances of said city; shall make a minute of the passage and adoption thereof in the records of the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted; and shall within fifteen days after the passage and adoption thereof, cause the same to be published once in the E1 Segundo Herald, a weekly newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated within said City of E1 Segundo and which is hereby designated for that purpose.
