ORDINANCE NO. 893
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 20 (THE
COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE) OF THE
"EL SEGUNDO MUNICIPAL CODE" BY AMENDING
THE ZONING MAP REFERRED TO IN SECTION
20. 16.030 OF SAID CODE. (S /E Corner of Mary-
land Street and Grand Avenue)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA,
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Title 20 (The Comprehensive Zoning
Ordinance) of the "E1 Segundo Municipal Code," and in particular
the "Zoning Map of the City of E1 Segundo" on file in the Planning
Department, be and the same is hereby amended by reclassifying
and rezoning to R -3 (Multiple Family Residential) Zone in the
manner hereinafter set forth, the following described real property
located within the City of E1 Segundo, County of Los Angeles,
State of California, to wit:
The westerly 30.00 feet of Lot 1 and all of
Lots 2,3, and 4 in Block 31 of Sheet 1, E1
Segundo, filed in Map Book 18, Page 69, in
the office of the County Recorder of Los
Angeles County, State of California, and the
westerly 190.00 feet of the north 1/2 of the
east -west alley (15.00 feet wide) in said
Block 31;(S /E Corner of Maryland Street and Grand Avenue)
from P(Automobile Parking) Zone to R -3 (Multiple Family Residential )
Zone.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective at
midnight on the thirtieth day from and after the date of the
final passage and adoption thereof.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
passage and adoption of this ordinance; shall cause the same to
be entered in the book of original ordinances of said city; shall
make a minute of the passage and adoption thereof in the records
of the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted; and shall
within fifteen days after the passage and adoption thereof, cause
the same to be published once in the El Segundo Herald, a weekly

newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated within
said City of El Segundo and which is hereby designated for that
purpose.
