ORDINANCE NO 870
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 20 (THE COM-
PREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE) OF THE
"EL SEGUNDO MUNICIPAL CODE" BY AMEND-
ING THE ZONING MAP REFERRED TO IN SEC-
TION 20.16. 030 OF SAID CODE, (ELEMENTARY
SCHOOLS, JUNIOR AND HIGH SCHOOLS)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO,
CALIFORNIA, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Title 20 (The Comprehensive Zoning ordi-
nance) of the "E1 Segundo Municipal Code, " and in particular the "Zoning
Map of the City of El Segundo" on file in the Planning Department, be and
the same is hereby amended by reclassifying and rezoning to ' PF (Public
Facilities) Zone, in the manner hereinafter set forth, the following
described real property located within the City of El Segundo, County
of Los Angeles, State of California, to wit:
CENTER STREET ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
All those portions of Lots 1, 2, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13
of Block 110 and Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 of Block 115
of Sheet 5, F1 Segundo as recorded in Book 20, pages
114 and 115 of Maps in the Office of the County Recorder
of Los Angeles County, State of California, described as
follows:
All of Lot 1; and the southerly 86.08 feet of Lot
2; and the southerly 305.00 feet of Lots 9, 10,
11, 12 and 13 of Block 110 of said Sheet 5; and
all of lots 2, 3, 4 and 5; and the northerly
242.09 feet of lots 6 and 7 of Block 115 of said
Sheet 5; and all that portion of Palm Avenue,
(40.00 feet wide) vacated by City of E1 Segundo
Ordinance No. 344 adopted December 15, 1948, lying
between the easterly line of Center Street (60.00
feet wide) and the westerly line of California
Street (50.00 feet wide), except the southerly
20.00 feet of the easterly 141.05 feet thereof.
IMPERIAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
All those portions of Lots 1, 2, 3, 6, 7 and 8 of Block
102, Sheet 4, E1 Segundo as recorded in Book 20, page
24 of Maps in the Office of the County Recorder of Los
Angeles County, State of California, described as follows:
All of Lots 1, 2 and 3; and the northerly 205.00
feet of Lot 6; and the northerly 182.40 feet of
Lot 7; and all of Lot 8 except the southerly
139.00 feet of the westerly 93.40 feet of said
Lot 8.
RICHMOND STREET ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
All of Blocks 83 and 84 of Sheet 3, E1 Segundo as recorded
in Book 20, pages 22 and 23 of Maps in the Office of the
County Recorder of Los Angeles County, State of California;
and all that portion of Concord Street (50.00 feet wide)
vacated by the City of E1 Segundo Ordinance No. 56 adopted
November 12, 1919, lying between the northerly line of
Mariposa Avenue (50.00 feet wide) and the southerly line
of Palm Avenue (50.00 feet wide); and the north -south and
east -west alleys in said Blocks 83 and 84 vacated by the
City of E1 Segundo Ordinance No. 57 adopted January 5,
1920, and Ordinance No. 62 adopted March 17, 1920.
FL SEGUNDO JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL
All those portions of Lots 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11,_ 45, 46,
47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 102,
103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 119, 120, 121, 122 and 123 of
Block 123, Sheet 8, E1 Segundo as recorded in Book 22,
pages 106 and 107 of Maps in the Office of the County
Recorder.of Los Angeles County, State of California, de-
scribed as follows:
The southerly 95.24 feet of Lot 5; and all of Lots
6, 7, 8, 9, and 10; and the northerly 53.70 feet
of Lot 11; and the westerly 139.25 feet of Lot 45;
and Lot 46 except the southerly 10.00 feet of the

Eucalyptus Drive (60.00 feet wide) vacated by said

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective at midnight
on the thirtieth day from and after the date of the final passage and adoption
thereof.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and
adoption of this ordinance; shall cause the same to be entered in the book
of original ordinances of said city; shall make a minute of the passage and
adoption thereof in the records of the meeting at which the same is passed
and adopted; and shall, within fifteen days after the passage and adoption
thereof, cause the same to be published once in the E1 Segundo Herald, a
weekly newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated within
