AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 20 (THE COM-
PREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE) OF THE
"EL SEGUNDO MUNICIPAL CODE" BY AMEND-
ING THE ZONING MAP REFERRED TO IN SEC-
TION 20.16. 030 OF SAID CODE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO,
CALIFORNIA, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Title 20 (The Comprehensive Zoning Ordi-
nance) of the "E1 Segundo Municipal Code" and in particular the "Zoning
Map of the City of El Segundo" on file in the Planning Department, be and
the same is hereby amended by reclassifying and rezoning,i n the manner
hereinafter set forth, the following described real property located within
the City of El Segundo, County of Los Angeles, State of California:
COMMENCING at a point located on the Sorith right -of -way line
of Imperial Highway, said point being at the intersection of the
South right -of -way line of Imperial Highway and the westerly line
of The Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company right -of-
way, said westerly line lying parallel to and 2 50. 00 feet more or
less West of the West line of Selby Street; thence southerly a dis-
tance of 595.28 feet more or less to a point on the North line of
Walnut Avenue; thence southerly a distance of 60. 00 feet to a
point on the South right -of -way line of Walnut Avenue 352. 00 feet
more or less easterly of the center line of Sepulveda Boulevard
(100 feet wide); thence South 0° 00' 23" East along the westerly
line of The Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company
right -of -way, a distance of 105. 16 feet to a point; thence along
the arc of a curve tangent to the last said course, concave north-
easterly and having a radius of 289. 37 feet through a central angle
of 27° 19' 12" a distance of 137. 98 feet to a point on said curve;
thence southeasterly along said curve through a central angle of
45° 54' 45" a distance of 231. 88 feet more or less to a point of
intersection with a line bearing South 89° 59' 20" West parallel
to and 20. 00 feet more or less southerly of the South line of Par-
cel 5, Record of Survey 66 -5; thence North 8911 59' 20" East a
distance of 100. 00 feet more or less to a point of intersection
with an arc of a curve concave southeasterly having a radius of
374.26 feet; thence southwesterly along an arc of said curve
through a central angle of 62° 51' 25" a distance of 410. 59 feet
more or less to a point on the North right -of -way line of Maple
Avenue 468. 89 feet more or less easterly of the center line of
Sepulveda Boulevard; thence easterly along the North right -of-
way line of Maple Avenue a distance of 30. 00 feet more or less
to a point; thence southerly a distance of 80. 00 feet more or less
to a point on the South right -of -way line of Maple Avenue 498. 89
feet more or less easterly of the center line of Sepulveda Boule-
vard; thence southerly along a line parallel to and 498. 89 feet
more or less East of the center line of Sepulveda Boulevard a
distance of 1, 116. 17 feet more or less to a point on the North
right -of -way line of Mariposa Avenue; thence easterly along the
North right -of -way line of Mariposa Avenue a distance of 51. 11
feet more or less to a point; thence southerly a distance of 80. 00
feet to a point on the South right -of -way line of Mariposa Avenue;
thence southerly along a line parallel to and 550.00 feet more or
less easterly of the center line of Sepulveda Boulevard a distance
of 664. 67 feet; thence South 89° 55' 25" East a distance of 1, 650.
00 feet more or less to a point; thence South 00° 00' 20" East a dis-
tance of 1, 885. 00 feet more or less to a point on the North right -of-
way line of El Segundo Boulevard; thence North 89° 55' 25" West a
distance of 2, 180. 00 feet more or less to a point on the West right -
of -way line of Sepulveda Boulevard; thence northerly along the West
right -of -way line of Sepulveda Boulevard a distance of 156. 98 feet
more or less to a point of intersection with the North right -of -way
line of the Southern Pacific railroad; thence northwesterly along
the arc of a curve concave southwesterly having a radius of 1, 480.
69 feet through a central angle of 18° 27' 18" a distance of 476. 93
feet more or less to a point of intersection with the southerly pro-
longation of the center line of Indiana Street; thence northerly
along said prolongation a distance of 522. 71 feet more or less to
a point on the South right -of -way line of Grand Avenue; thence
easterly along the South right -of -way line of Grand Avenue a dis-
tance of 2 5. 00 feet to a point on the southerly prolongation of the
East right -of -way line of Indiana Street; thence northerly along
said prolongation a distance of 60. 00 feet to a point on the North
right -of -way line of Grand Avenue; thence northerly along said

or less to a point on the North right -of -way line of Mariposa Ave-

less to a point; thence northerly along a line parallel to and 103. 41

veda Boulevard a distance of 142. 03 feet more or less to a point;
thence easterly a distance of 103.41 feet more or less to the west-

to a point on the North right -of -way line of Palm Avenue; thence
easterly along the North right -of -way line of Palm Avenue a dis-

less West of the westerly right -of -way line of Sepulveda Boulevard;
thence northerly along a line parallel to and 133. 63 feet more or

East line of Tract No. 15115 a distance of 437. 18 feet more or less;

easterly along the South right -of -way line of Imperial Avenue a

the intersection of the prolongation of the South right -of -way line
of Imperial Avenue and the prolongation of the East right -of -way
line of Sepulveda Boulevard; thence southerly 10. 00 feet more or
less along the prolongation of the East line of Sepulveda Boulevard
to a point on the westerly prolongation of the South right -of -way
line of Imperial Highway; thence easterly a distance of 310. 00 feet
more or less to the West line of The Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe
Railway Company right -of -way, the point of beginning, see attached map
revised September 29, 1971,
from Residential -3 (R -3) Zone, Automobile Parking (P) Zone, Service
Commercial - Professional (C -1) Zone, General Commercial (C -2) Zone,
Commerical- Manufacturing (C -M) Zone, Light Manufacturing (M -1) Zone, and
Heavy - Manufacturing (M -2) Zone, to Special Commercial District (C -3)
Zone.
SECTION 2. That said City Council has caused to be prepared
a small area map of the areas or districts affected by the zone change herein -
above ordered to be made, which said small area map is hereunto attached,
designated as "Exhibit A" and is hereby referred to and by this reference
incorporated herein and made a part hereof. Said small area map (Exhibit A)
is hereby adopted as, and shall be an amendment to the extent of the areas
shown thereon and affected thereby of the "Zoning Map of the City of E1 Segundo'
referred to in, and which is adopted by the provisions of Section 20. 16. 030 of
said Code.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective at midnight on
the thirtieth day from and after the date of the final passage and adoption thereof.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adop-
tion of this ordinance; shall cause the same to be entered in the book of original
ordinances of said city; shall make a minute of the passage and adoption thereof
in the records of the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted; and
shall, within fifteen days after the passage and adoption thereof, cause the
same to be published once in the E1 Segundo Herald, a weekly newspaper of

general circulation, published and circulated within said City of E1 Segundo,
and which is hereby designated for that purpose.
