ORDINANCE 771ORDINANCE NO. 771 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING CHAPTER 16.08 OF THE "EL SEGUNDO MUNICIPAL CODE" WHICH SAID CHAPTER RELATES TO THE ELECTRICAL CODE. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 16.08.090 of Chapter 16.08 of the "El Segundo Municipal Code" is amended to read as follows: "16.08.090 OWNER'S SPECIAL PERMIT. An owner's special permit may be issued, authorizing a person to personally install, alter, change or repair electrical equipment, to the bona fide owner of any property, provided that said owner shall person- ally purchase all material and shall personally perform all labor in connection therewith. " SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective at mid- night on the thirtieth day from and after the date of the final passage and adoption thereof. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this ordinance; shall cause the same to be entered in the book of original ordinances of said city; shall make a minute of the passage and adoption thereof in the records of the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted; and shall, within fifteen days after the passage and adoption thereof, cause the same to be published once in the E1 Segundo Herald, a weekly newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated within said City of E1 Segundo, and which is hereby designated for that purpose.
