ORDINANCE 7284400 ORDINANCE NO. 728 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 20 (THE COM- PREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE) OF THE "EL SEGUNDO MUNICIPAL CODE" BY AMEND- ING SECTION 20. 90. 040 AND BY ADDING SEC- TIONS 20. 90. 044 AND 20. 90. 048 RELATING TO FILING FEES. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That Title 20 (The Comprehensive Zoning Ordi- nance) of the "E1 Segundo Municipal Code" is amended by amending Sec- tion 20. 90. 040 to read as follows: "20. 90. 040. FILING FEES. The applicant shall, at the time of filing the application, pay to the City of E1 Segundo, the following fees to cover the cost of examining and process- ing the application: (1) Reclassification or amendment $100. 00 (2) Precise (specific) plan 100. 00 (3) Unclassified use permit 50. 00 (4) Variance 100.00 (5) Conditional use permit 100. 00 (6) Adjustments 25.00 SECTION 2. That Title 20 (The Comprehensive Zoning Ordi- nance) of the "El Segundo Municipal Code" is amended by adding thereto Sections 20. 90. 044 and 20. 90. 048 to read as follows: "20. 90. 044. COST OF PUBLIC HEARINGS. The fees set forth in Section 20. 90. 040 shall cover the expense to the City of the preparation of all maps, information, and data necessary under the Zoning regulations to conduct a public hearing before the Planning Commission and, when required, before the City Council. "20. 90. 048. APPEAL FEE. Whenever an appeal is taken from any of the matters for which filing fees are estab- lished by Section 20. 90. 040, the appellant, whether he be the applicant or any other person, may not file such appeal unless he first pays to the City Treasurer, for the account of the City, an appeal fee of $25. 00. 4401 SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective at mid- night on the thirtieth day from and after the final passage and adoption thereof. SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this ordinance; shall cause the same to be entered in the book of original ordinances of said city; shall make a minute of the pass- age and adoption thereof in the records of the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted; and shall within fifteen days after the passage and adoption thereof, cause the same to be published once in the El Segundo Herald, a weekly newspaper of general circulation, published and circu- lated within said City of El Segundo and which is hereby designated for that purpose.
