ORDINANCE 6194k,e%,3 ORDINANCE NO. 619 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, A1\ENDING "THE CODE OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, 1958, "BY AMENDING "CHAPTER 34 " (THE COMPREHEN- SIVE ZONING LAW) WITH REGARD TO FR(XT YARD SET - BACKS. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That Section 34. 30 of Article V, of Chapter 34, (The Comprehensive Zoning Law) of "The Code of the City of El Segundo, California, 1958, " is hereby amended to read as follows: "SEC. 34. 30 FRONT YARD. The front yard set -back of R-3 lots is established at twenty feet, with a permitted intrusion of five (5) feet, by: (1) portions of building above the ground story level with structural columns to support the same; and (2) ground story levels of buildings without garage entrances into the front yard; above the first story level, apartment balconies without stair- ways, may intrude an additional thirty (30) inches. " SECTION 2. That this ordinance shall become effective at midnight on the thirtieth day from and after the final passage and adop- tion thereof. SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this ordinance; shall cause the same to be entered in the book of original ordinances of said city; shall make a minute of the pass- age and adoption thereof in the records of the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted; and shall, within fifteen days after the passage and adoption thereof, cause the same to be published once in the El Segundo Herald, a weekly newspaper of general circulation, published and circula- ted within said City of E1 Segundo, and which is hereby designated for that purpose.
