AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 507
(THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE) OF
SAID CITY BY AMENDING THE ZONING MAP
THEREIN CONTAINED.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALI-
FORNIA, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That City of E1 Segundo Ordinance No.
507 (the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance) and in particular
the "Zoning Map of the City of E1 Segundo" therein contained
be, and the same is hereby, amended by reclassifying and re-
zoning, in the manner hereinafter set forth, the following
described real property located within the City of E1 Segundo,
County of Los Angeles, State of California, to wit:
All those portions of Sections
Township 3 South, Range 14 West, in
Redondo Rancho, as per Map filed in
11629 of the Superior Court of the
California in and for the County of
bounded and described as follows:
17 and 1$,
the Sausal

Los Angeles,
Beginning at the point of intersection of
the most easterly boundary of the City of E1
Segundo, as the same existed on May 1, 1959s
and the westerly prolongation of the south line
of E1 Segundo Boulevard, (100 feet wide), said
south line being in the southerly line of the
northerly 50 feet of said Section 17, said
point being the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence
easterly along said westerly prolongation and
south line of El Segundo Boulevard and said
southerly line of the northerly 50 feet of
Section 17 to its intersection with the bound-
ary of the City of Hawthorne, as the same
existed on May 1, 1959; thence southerly and
easterly along the various courses of the
boundary of the said City of Hawthorne, to
the most northeasterly corner of Lot 34, Tract
16663, Book 511, Pages 15 to 19 inclusive, Map
Records of Los Angeles County; thence southwest-
erly along the boundary of the said City of
Hawthorne, said boundary being the most north-
westerly line of said Tract 16663 and the most
northwesterly line of Tract 19902, Book 511,
Pages 10 to 14, inclusive, Map Records of Los
Angeles County, and along the southwesterly

prolongation of the most northwesterly line
of said Tract 19902 to its intersection with
the most easterly boundary of the said City
of E1 Segundo; thence northerly along the
various courses of the most easterly bound-
ary of the said City of E1 Segundo, to the
TRUE POINT OF BEGINNINGS
from Zone R -1 to Zone M -1.
SECTION 2. That said City Council has caused to be
prepared a small area map of the area or district affected by
the zone change hereinabove ordered to be made, which said
small area map is hereunto attached, designated as "Exhibit A,"
and is hereby referred to and by this reference incorporated
herein and made a part hereof. Said small area map (Exhibit A)
is hereby adopted as, and shall be an amendment,to the ex-
tent of the areas shown thereon and affected thereby, of the
"Zoning Map of the City of E1 Segundo," referred to in, and
which is adopted by, the provisions of Section 302 of Article
3 of said Ordinance No. 507 of said City.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effec-
tive at midnight on the thirtieth day from and after the date
of the final passage and adoption thereof.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to
the passage and adoption of this ordinance; shall make a min-
ute of the passage and adoption thereof in the records of the
meeting at which the same is passed and adopted; shall cause
the same to be entered in the book of original ordinances of
said city; and shall, within fifteen days after the passage
and adoption thereof, cause the same to be published once in
the E1 Segundo Herald, a weekly newspaper of general circula-
tion, published and circulated within said City of E1 Segundo
and which is hereby designated for that purpose.
