ORDINANCE NO. 402
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 313
(THE TRAFFIC ORDINANCE) OF SAID CITY BY
AMENDING SUBDIVISION 11(1)11 OF SECTION 1
OF ARTICLE XIV OF SAID ORDINANCE NO. 313,
AS AMENDED.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALI-
FORNIA, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That subdivision 11(1)?? of Section 1
of Article XIV of Ordinance No. 313, entitled:
t1AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO,
CALIFORNIA, MAKING CERTAIN PROVISIONS
RELATING TO PUBLIC STREETS AND PUBLIC
PLACES WITHIN SAID CITY; REGULATING
TRAFFIC IN AND UPON SUCH PUBLIC STREETS
AND PLACES; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
THEREWITH.",
passed and adopted on the 25th day of June, 1947, shall be
and the same is hereby amended so as to read as follows:
t1(1) For any period of time whatsoever on Douglas
Street between Imperial Highway and its ter-
minus southerly therefrom, except that:
(a) Two hours parking shall be permitted
along the westerly side of said street
between the southerly line of Imperial
Highway and a line parallel with and
distant 100 feet southerly therefrom
between the hours of 8 :00 a.m. and
5 :00 p.m. only of any day; and
(b) Two hours parking shall be permitted
along the westerly side of said street

between the northerly line of Mari-
posa Avenue and a line parallel with
and distant 1,550 feet northerly
therefrom."
SECTION 2. That said Ordinance No. 313, as amended,
is hereby amended as hereinabove in Section 1 of this ordi-
nance set forth.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to
the passage and adoption of this ordinance; shall make a
minute of the passage and adoption thereof in the records of
the proceedings of the City Council of said City in the min-
utes of the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted;
and within 15 days after the adoption thereof shall cause
the same to be published once in the El Segundo Herald, a
weekly newspaper of general circulation, published and cir-
culated within said City, and which is hereby designated for
that purpose.
SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall become ef-
fective at midnight on the thirtieth day from and after the
date of the final passage and adoption thereof.
