ORDINANCE N0. 275
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 204
OF SAID CITY, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA,
REGULATING TRAFFIC UPON THE PUBLIC
STREETS, AVENUES, ALLEYS, THOROUGHFARES
AND PLACES WITHIN SAID CITY, AND REPEAL-
ING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT THEREWITH. ", AS AMENDED TO
DATE, BY AMENDING SECTION 68 THEREOF AND
BY ADDING A NEW SECTION THERETO TO BE KNOWN
AND DESIGNATED AS "SECTION 80.4 ".
The City Council of the City of El Segundo,
California, does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. That Section 68 of Ordinance No. 204
of the City of El Segundo, California, entitled:
"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF FL SEGUNDO,
CALIFORNIA, REGULATING TRAFFIC UPON THE
PUBLIC STREETS, AVENUES, ALLEYS, THOROUGH-
FARES AND PLACES WITHIN SAID CITY, AND
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH. ",
passed and adopted on the 28th day of October, 1936, as
amended to date, shall be and the same is hereby amended
so as to read as follows:
"SECTION 68. PARKING TIME LIMITED ON CERTAIN
ENUMERATED STREETS. When authorised signs are in
place giving notice thereof, no person shall stop,
stand or park any vehicle on any of the streets
enumerated in Sections 80, 80.1, 80.2, 8093 or 80.4
hereof for a period of time longer than is specified
in said respective sections for said respective

streets or portions thereof, or at all on those
streets or portions thereof where parking is en-
tirely prohibited; provided, however, that this
Section 68 and said Sections 80, 80.1, 80.2, 80.3
and 80.4 shall not apply to police, fire and other
municipal or public utility vehicles when same are
actually being used in the performance of duties
pertaining to such respective departments or
public utilities."
SECTION 2. That said Ordinance No. 204, as amended
to date, shall be and the same is hereby amended by adding
a new section thereto to be known and designated as "Section
80.4 ", which said new Section 80.4 shall read as follows,
to-wit:
"SECTION 80.4. It shall be unlawful to stand
or park any vehicle for any time or period of time
whatsoever along either side of the following portion
of Lapham Street within said city, to -wit:
Lapham Street between its Northerly termination
in Imperial Highway (95 feet wide) and a line
parallel with the Southerly line of said
Imperial Highway (95 feet wide), and distant
Southerly therefrom 362.2 feet measured at
right angles."
SECTION 3. That said Ordinance No. 204, as amended
to date, is hereby amended as hereinabove in Sections 1 and
2 of this ordinance set forth.
SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect
at midnight on the thirtieth day from and after the date of
the final passage and adoption thereof.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to
the passage and adoption of this ordinance, and shall cause
the same to be published once in the E1 Segundo Herald, a

weekly newspaper of general circulation, printed, published
and circulated within the said City of E1 Segundo, and which
is hereby designated for that purpose.
