ORDINANCE NO. 208
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EL SEQUNDO..
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 16 OF
SAID CITY, ENTITLED, "AN ORDINANCE OF THE
CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, REGULATING THE USE OF
FIRECRACKERS, TORPEDOES, FIREWORKS AND
DISPLAY EXPLOSIVES OF ALL KINDS WITHIN SAID
CITY." BY AMENDING SECTION 1 THEREOF.
The City Council of the City of E1 Segundo,
California, does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 16
of the City of El Segundo, California, entitled, "An
Ordinance of the City of E1 Segundo, regulating the use
of firecrackers, torpedoes, fireworks and display explo-
sives of all kinds within said City ", passed and adopted
on the 27th day of June, 1917, shall be and the some is
hereby amended so as to read as follows:
"SECTION 1. That it shall be unlawful for
any person or persons to sell, or offer for sale,
or to fire, ignite or discharge any firecracker,
fireworks or explosives of any kind for the purpose
of celebration, noise, display, exhibition, enjoyment,
amusement, or entertainment within the City of E1
Segundo, California, except during the period between
the hour of 7 o'clock p. m. on the 3rd day of July,
and the hour of 12 o'clock at midnight on the succeed-
ing day in each year, if the 4th day of July does not
fall upon a Sunday, and except during the period be-
tween 7 o'clock p. m. on the 4th day of July and the
hour of 12 o'clock midnight on the succeeding day, if
the 4th day of July falls upon a Sunday; provided,
