ORDINANCE 154ORDINANCE NO. 15. AN ORDINANCE OF ME C ITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, AWDING ORDINANCE NO. 134 OF THE SAID CITY, EN TI TLED : "Alt ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, REGULATING TRAFFIC UPON THE PUBLIC STREETS, AVENUES, ALLEYS AND THOROUGHFARES WITHIN SAID CITY, AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT THEREWITH ", BY AVERDING SECTION 32 THEREOF. The City Counail (Board of Trustees) of the City of 81 Segundo, California, do ordain as foll.oes: SECTION 1. That Section 32 of Ordinance No. 134 of the City of B1 Segundo, California, entitled: "AB ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, REGULATING TRAFFIC UPON TEE PC HLI C S TBEETS AVENUES ALLEYS AND THOROUGHFARES *ITHIN SAID CITY, AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT THEREWITH 0 31 passed and adopted on the 17th day of dtine, A. D., 19279 M shall be and the same is hereby amended, so to to read as folio as : "SECTION 32. Parking Time Limited in Specified Places. (A) The operator of a vehicle shall not part suoh vehicle for longer than: (a) Two hours on Richmond Street between El Segundo Avenue and Grand Avenue within the said city: (b) A period of five minutes on the northerly side of El Segundo Avenue, between Richmond Street affi Concord Street within said city: J(d) For a longer period than five minutes on the south side of El Segundo Avemie from the center 1- Cn 1 061 ---A line of Virginia Street to the center line of Lomita Street: (d) Two hours on Grand Avenue, between the easterly line of Concord Street and the westerly - line of Main Street, within said city. C (B) The operator of a vehicle shall not part. such vehicle : (a) For any time or period of time mhatsoever on Franklin Avenue between Richmond Street and a line dravm across Franklin Avenue, at right angles to the northerly street line of Franklin Avenue, five feet westerly of the first alley westerly of Richmond Street within said city: (b) For any time or period of time, whatsoever, within fifteen feet of the point of interseotion of the nearest line of the nearest intersecting street or alley and the line formbd by the Garb along which such vehicle is so parked, provided hoUever, that such point of intersection shall be indicated by a vertical red line at least two inches wide painted on the curb: (o) For any time or period of time ahate®ever unless such vehicle is parked on the right -hand side of the street in the direction in which said vehicle was progressing at the time the same was parked. (d) For arq time or period of time whatsoever on the westerly and southwesterly public street within said city, n, the "Coast Boulevard" between its the southerly city limits and its the southerly line of Section 119 Range 15 1. , S. B. & M.: 2- side of that certain med and known as intersection with intersection with Township 4, South, 106` K l� (e) For any time or period of time whatsoever within fifteen feet of any fire hydrant within said city, provided that such point fifteen felt on each side of such fire hydrant shall be indicated by a vertical red line at least two inches wide painted on the curb. (f) For ary time or period of time whatsoever opposite the entrance to or esiti from azW theater motion picture house or pablio assembly hall within said city, during the presentation of any play, motion picture, opera, entertainment, lecture, debate or other form of entertainment, or while persons are congregated for any purpose in or about such theater, motion picture house or hall. (g) For any time or period of time v&atsoever at any curb within twenty five (25) feet of a point on the curb opposite the center of the entrance to any hospital: (h) For arm time or period of time whatsoever at arty curb within fifty (50) feet of a point on the curb opposite the center of the entrance to any police station: (i) For any time or period of time whatsoever in any marked bus stop. The stops shall be designated by appropriate signs at those places determined by the City Uounc it (Board of Trustees), except that a bus stop shall not exceed fifty (50) feet in length and shall not be placed adjacent to a safety zone at a street oar stop. Signs shall be erected and maintained not more than 150 feet apart in each block designating the provisions of this section." 1063 1 !I' y 1064L SECTION 2. That said Ordinance No. 134 is hereby amended accordingly. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall mertify to the passage and adoption of this ordiname and shall manse the same to be published once in The $1 Segundo Herald, a weekly newspaper of general circulation, printed, pub- lished and circulated within the said City of E1 Segundo, and which is hereby designated for that purpose. This ordinance shall take effect thirty days from and after the final passage and adoption thereof. Passed, approved and adopted this nth day of January, A.
