ORDINANCE 132ORDINANCE NO. 132 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, ABA14DONING THE PROCEEDINGS FOR THE LAYING OUT AND OPENING OF CERTAIN NEW PUBLIC STREETS WITHIN SAID CITY TO BE DESIGNATED AND KNOWN AS ACACIA AVENUE AND OAK AVENUE BETWEEN THE WESTERLY BOUNDARY OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, AND THE WESTERLY BOUNDARY OF THE J. H. FISHER'S SUBDIVISION IN SAID CITY AND SYCAMORE AVENUE FROM THE EASTERLY LINE OF MAIN STREET TO THE WESTERLY LINE OF PENN STREET WITHIN SAID CITY AS CONTEMPLATED AND PROVIDED BY RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NUMBER 130 AND ORDINANCE NUMBER 128 OF THE SAID CITY. The Board of Trustees of the City of E1 Segundo, California, do ordain as follows: SECTION 1. That resolution of Intention No. 130 of the Board of Trustees of the City of El Segundo, California, entitled : - "A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, TO LAY OUT AND OPEN CERTAIN NEW PU'�LIC STREETS, WI _'HIN THE SAID CITY, TO BE DESIGNATED AND KNOWN AS ACACIA AVENUE AND OAK AVENUE, BETWEEN THE WESTERLY BOUNDARY OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, AND THE WESTERLY BOUNDARY OF THE J. H. FISHER'S SUBDIVISION IN SAID CITY, AND SYCAMORE AVENUE FROM THE EASTERLY LINE OF MAIN STREET TO THE WESTERLY LINE OF PENN STREET, WITHIN THE SAID CITY, DESCRIBING TF3 LAND NECESSARY TO BE TAKEN, SPECIFYING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE DISTRICT TO BE BENEFITED BY SAID IMPROVEMENT AND TO BE ASSESSED TO PAY THE EXPENSES THEREOF, PROVIDING FOR THE POSTING AND PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF THE PASSAGE OF THIS RESOLU- TION BY THE STREET SUPERINTENDENT, AND DESIGNATING THE ACTS OF THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA UNDER WHICH THE PROCEEDINGS WILL BE HAD AND TAKEN ", passed and adopted on the 9th day of April, A. D., 19262 be and the same is hereby repealed, and all prooeedings subsequent to and had and taken under said Resolution of Intention Ito. 130, are hereby abandoned and repealed. 1- 939 940 SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this ordinance, and shall cause the same to be published once in the El Segundo Herald, , a weekly newspaper printed, published and circulated within the said City of E1 Segundo, and which is hereby designated for that purpose; and thereupon and thereafter the same shall take effect and be in full force and virtue.
