AN CRDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO,
CALIFORNIA, PRDHIbITING DRIINMN33B AND
DISORIRRLY CONDUCT IN SAID CITY, AND
PRESCRIBING THE PUN ISHMINT T BE REFOR .
The Board of Trustees of the City of 91 Segundo,
do crdain as follows;
SECT ION 1. It shall be unlawful f or any pe re m
to be or appear in any public place, or in any place open
to public view, or on any street, alley, highway, court,
park, railway depot, plaza or public square, within the City
of E1 Segundo; California, in a state of drunkenness or in-
tbxioation.
SECTION 2. It shall be unlawful for any person
to be on any private premises or in any private house, with-
in said City, in a state of drunkenness or intoxication to
the annoyance of axr other person.
SECTION 3. Any person who shall violate axW of
the provisions of this ordinance, shall be deemed guilty of
a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be fined
in a sun not exceeding Fifty Dollars ($50.00), or be con-
fined in the City Jail of said City, or the County Jail of
Los Angeles,County, California, for a period not exceeding
fifty (50) days, or shall suffer both such fine and im-
pr is onment .
SECT ION 4, The City Clerk shall certify to the
passage and adoption of this ordinance, and shall cause the
same to be published once in the El Segundo Herald, a week-
ly newspaper, printed, published and circulated within the
said City of E1 Segundo, California, and which is hereby
designated for that purpose.
