ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY CF EL SEGUNDO,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 14
OF SAID CITY ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE OF
THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO PII: V IDING FOR
THE CALLING OF ELECTIONS IN SAID CITY."
The Board of Trustees of the City of E1 Segundo
do ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No.
14 of the City of E1 Segundo, entitled, "An ordinance
of the City of El Segundo providing for the calling
of elections in said city ", adopted on the 21st day of
March, 1917, be, and the same is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"Section 1. That all elections held
in the City of El Segundo, County of Los
Angeles, State of California, shall be held
in accordance with the general election
laws of said State, so far as the same may
be made applicable, and unless otherwise
provided by said laws each election shall
be called, and notice of the holding
thereof shall be given by resolution of
the Board of Trustees of said City duly
passed, at a regular meeting of said Board,
at least 30 days before the holding of
such election."

SECTION 20 The City Clerk shall certify to
the passage of this ordinance, and shall cause the
same to be published by one insertion in the E1
Segundo Herald, a weekly newspaper of general cir-
culation printed, published and circulated within the
said City and which is hereby designated for that
purpose.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in full force on and after the 9th day of April, 1918.
