CC RESOLUTION 4208RESOLUTION NO. 4208 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, CONSOLIDATING ALL RESOLUTIONS RELATED TO FINES AND FEES OF THE RECREATION AND PARKS DEPARTMENT Whereas, there exists various resolutions relating to fines and fees for Recreation and Parks Department services to recover partial costs of Recreation and Parks Department services; and Whereas, for the convenience of the public and the ease of administration it is in the best interest of the City that these fines and fees be consolidated into one resolution; and Whereas, the purpose of this resolution is to consolidate fees established by Resolution Number 3580, and 3611 into this single resolution which may be amended from time to time by the City Council; and Whereas, the Recreation and Parks Department fines and fees do not exceed the reasonable cost of providing service; and Whereas, this resolution does not adjust any fees and merely compiles all fees set forth in other resolutions. NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The schedule of fees, referred hereto as Exhibit "A" and by reference made a part hereof, is hereby approved as the schedule of fees for various Recreation and Parks Department Services. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution; shall enter the same in the book of original Resolutions of said City; and shall make a record of proceedings of the City Council in the minutes of the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted. In addition to these fees and charges hereinabove established, the permittee shall pay all costs and direct overhead to the City for supervising, controlling, and managing permittee's operation. This shall include, but not be limited to, all personnel costs, all material and supply costs, and all other direct costs and expenses of the City. These costs and expenses shall be computed at the conclusion of the project and shall be deducted from the deposition hereinafter required. ** No charge for use by organization of a recreational nature, as long as the activity is open to the public, non - profit, and not involve special privileges. A minimum direct expense charge will be required when used by Civic and Service organizations, of a non- recreational nature, and by private recreation parties, where such use does no involve fund- raising. 3
