A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING THE AP-
PLICATION FEE FOR PERMITS FOR POOLROOMS AND
BILLIARD ROOMS IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTIONS
5.04.020 AND 5.28.010 OF THE EL SEGUNDO MU-
NICIPAL CODE.
WHEREAS, City Council Ordinance No. 1138, adopted April 18,
1989 establishes that all fees for Business Regulation and
Licensing under Title 5 of the E1 Segundo Municipal Code be fixed
and established by City Council from time to time by resolution;
and
WHEREAS, it is recommended by City staff that the fee for
processing and investigating applications for permit to conduct,
carry on, operate or maintain in the City a poolroom or billiard
room be fixed and established at $500.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO,
CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
• SECTION 1. The fee for processing and investigating an
application for permit to conduct, carry on, operate or maintain
in the City a poolroom or billiard room is adopted at $500 per
application.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall become effective upon
passage and adoption.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and
adoption of this resolution; shall enter the same in the book of
original resolutions of said city; and shall make a minute of the
passage and adoption thereof in the record of the proceedings of
the City Council of said city, in the minutes of the meeting at
which the same is passed and adopted.
