A RESOLUTION OF THE

AUTHORITY TO EXPEND
PENDING APPROVAL OF
BUDGET.
CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CALIFORNIA, GIVING
KITED AND TEMPORARY
FUNDS OF THE CITY
THE 1989 -90 CITY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO,
CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized
to expend general purpose funds of the City for the purpose of
paying ongoing expenses of the City until such time as a budget
is adopted by the City Council, but no later than July 31, 1989.
SECTION 2. The level of such expenditures and
• authorization is limited to the 1988 -89 level of appropria-
tions previously approved by the City Council.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the
passage and adoption of this resolution; shall enter the same
in the book of original resolutions of said city; and shall
make a minute of the passage and adoption thereof in the
records of the proceedings of the City Council of said city,
in the minutes of the meeting at which the same is passed and
and adopted.

June, 1989.
