A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA
ESTABLISHING THE APPLICATION
MATERIALS TO BE SUBMITTED FOR
APPLICANTS RELATED TO TITLE 19 AND
TITLE 20 OF THE EL SEGUNDO MUNICIPAL
CODE

WHEREAS, the City regulates land use and
•
development of land through Title 19 (Plats and
Subdivisions) and Title 20 (Zoning) in conformance with
the State of California Planning and Zoning Law,
Subdivision Map Act, and the California Environmental
Quality Act; and
WHEREAS the City requires

y q property owners, who
propose development of their property under the

jurisdiction of the above laws to submit information
regarding such property on their application, and;
WHEREAS, all information necessary to review and
process development requests is similar except for
Adjustments as described in Section 20.78 of the
Municipal Code and Certificates of Compliance as
i
described in Section 66499.35 of the Subdivision Map
Act, which require dissimilar information; and
WHEREAS, the said applications shall be submitted

to the Director of Planning for appropriate processing.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that all
applications shall include the following:
1. A map of all properties within a 300 -foot
radius of the subject property of the application, keyed

to a list of the names and addresses of current property
owners;

owner, the applicant, and any other interested party
which the applicant wants notified (sufficient for two
mailings) ;
4. Certification that the names and addresses
provided are those of the property owners currently
listed in the latest available Los Angeles County Tax
Assessor's records;
5. Thirteen sets of plans and elevations plus one
colored set for public presentation;
6. Photographs of the site; and
7. Any other information as determined necessary
by the Director of Planning to provide sufficient detail
to describe a proposed project.
Requirements for applications for adjustments are
the same as those above, except that only the names of
owners of abutting properties, as defined in Section
20.78.040 of the Zoning Ordinance, need to be provided.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 17th day of

California, DO HEREBY CERTIFY that the whole number of members of

resolution, being Resolution No. 3450 was duly passed and adopted
by the said City Council, approved and signed by the Mayor of
said City, and attested by the City Clerk of said City, all at a
regular meeting of the said Council held on the 17th day of
February, 1987, and that the same was so passed and adopted by
the following vote:
