RESOLUTION NO. 3386
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL
SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, CERTIFYING AN AMENDED
MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL
IMPACT (EA -082) FOR A PROPOSED STORM DRAIN SYSTEM
LOCATED IN IMPERIAL HIGHWAY APPROXIMATELY 200 FEET
WEST OF SELBY AVENUE TO KILROY CENTER DRIVE IN THE
CITY OF EL SEGUNDO.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of E1 Segundo,
after public hearings duly held on July 25, 1985, and April 10,
1986, has adopted its Resolution Nos. 2116 and 2143, recommending
to the City Council the certification of an amended mitigated
Negative Declaration of Environmental Impact for a proposed storm
drain project of 21026.1 feet in distance located in Imperial
Highway approximately 200 feet west of Selby Avenue to Kilroy
Center Drive, in the City of El Segundo; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council held a duly noticed public hearing
on May 20, 1986, in the time, form, and manner prescribed by law
for said certification of an amended mitigated Negative
Declaration of Environmental Impact for a proposed storm drain
project of 2,026.1 feet in distance located in Imperial Highway
approximately 200 feet west of Selby Avenue to Kilroy Center
Drive, in the City of E1 Segundo;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO,
CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby certifies that, prior to
approving the project, it has considered the proposed amended
mitigated Negative Declaration of Environmental Impact (EA -082)
for the proposed storm drain project of 2,026.1 feet in distance
located in Imperial Highway approximately 200 feet west of Selby
Avenue to Kilroy Center Drive, in the City of E1 Segundo, together
with any comments received during the public review process. The

City Council hereby approves the amended mitigated Negative
Declaration of Environmental Impact (EA -082), subject to the
following amended mitigation measure:
1. That a third eastbound lane be made
available between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and
7:00 p.m. weekdays to accommodate peak period
traffic volumes;
and finds that, on the basis of the initial study and any comments
received, there is no substantial evidence that the project will
have a significant effect on the environment.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and
adoption of this resolution; shall enter the same in the book of
original resolutions of said city; and shall make a minute of the
passage and adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings of
the City Council of said city, in the minutes of the meeting at
which the same is passed and adopted.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPT this 20th day of May, 1986.
