RESOLUTION NO. 3285
A RESOLUlION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, PROVIDING FOR
INCREASED COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS FOR
CERTAIN EMPLOYEES IN THE MANAGEMENT- CONFIDENTIAL
SERIES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA,
• DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of the E1
Segundo Administrative Code, on and after September 29, 1984, the
minimum and maximum salary amounts for Management- Confidential
ranges shown in Section 1A2.010 of the El Segundo Administrative
Code shall be increased by five percent (5 %).
SECTION 2. Notwithstanding the provisions of the El
Segundo Administrative Code, on and after September 29, 1984, persons
assigned to positions within certain ranges in the Management -Con-
fidential Series shall be reassigned to the following new ranges:
Accountant: Increase from Range B to Range C;
Administrative Accountant: Increase from Range E to
Range G;
Assistant City Manager: Increase from Range J to
Range K;
Assistant to the City Manager: Increase from Range F
to Range G;
Equipment Maintenance Superintendent: Increase from
Range F to a new range herewith established at
2.5 percent above Range F entitled Range F -1;
Purchasing /License Supervisor: Increase from Range E
to Range F.
Increases provided for in this Section shall be in addition to, but
not compounded onto, increases provided for in Section 1 of this
Resolution.
SECTION 3. Notwithstanding the provisions of the E1
Segundo Administrative Code, on and after September 29, 1984,
persons assigned to positions within certain ranges in the Management-
Confidential Series shall be reassigned to the following new ranges:
Assistant Planner: Decrease from Range B to Range A -2;
Associate Planner: Decrease from Range F to Range E;
Water /Sanitation Superintendent: Decrease from Range K
to Range J.
Decreases provided for in this Section shall not become effective until
those positions currently filled become vacant.

SECTION 4. All resolutions and orders of the City Council
heretofore passed and adopted with reference to the same, or any of the
matters and subjects hereinabove set forth or referred to are hereby
rescinded insofar as the same conflict with the provisions hereof.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and
adoption of this resolution; shall enter the same in the book of original
resolutions of said city; and shall make a minute of the passage and
adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City Council
of said city, in the minutes of the meeting at which the same is passed
and adopted.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 23rd day of October, 1984.

foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 3285 was duly passed
and adopted by the said City Council, approved and signed by the

at a regular meeting of the said Council held on the 23rd day of
October 19 84 and that the same was so passed and
adopted by the following vote:
AYES: Council Members Jacobson, Schuldt., Siadek,
Synadinos and Mayor Armstrong
