CC RESOLUTION 3273RESOLUTION NO. 3273 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, PROVIDING FOR INCREASED COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS FOR CERTAIN EMPLOYEES IN THE GENERAL GOVERNMENT SERIES. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of the El Segundo Administrative Code, on and after July 21, 1984, persons assigned to positions within classes provided for in Sections 1A3.025, 1A3.030 and 1A3.045 of the El Segundo Administrative Code shall be compensated above the rates established in said Code for those positions by an average of five percent (5 %). SECTION 2. Notwithstanding the provisions of the E1 Segundo Administrative Code, effective with the payroll deduction made for coverage for the month of August, 1984, the City shall provide for all persons assigned to positions identified in Section 1 above to receive a total sum of $18136 per month for the premium cost of employee -only dental insurance coverage and health and medi- cal insurance coverage. The difference between the actual cost of the employee -only dental insurance coverage and the $181.36 shall be applied toward the payment of the health and medical insurance cov- erage. SECTION 3. Notwithstanding the provisions of the E1 Segundo Administrative Code, on and after July 21, 1984, persons assigned to positions within certain classes shall be compensated above the rates established in the E1 Segundo Administrative Code, as follows: Accounting Technician, Acquisition Clerk, Library Clerk, Library Assistant: One percent (1 %) increase; Clerk Stenographer: Two percent (2 %) increase; and, Clerk - Typist I, II, Receptionist: Four percent (4 %) increase. Increases provided for in this section shall be in addition to, but Page One 1. not compounded onto, increases provided for in Section 1 of this resolution. SECTION 4. Upon and after July 21, 1984, shift differen- tial pay as provided for in Section 1A3.075 of the El Segundo Admini- strative Code shall be increased by five cents (5¢) to thirty cents (30¢) per hour. SECTION 5. All resolutions and orders of the City Council heretofore passed and adopted with reference to the same, or any of the matters and subjects hereinabove set forth or referred to, are hereby rescinded insofar as the same conflict with the provisions hereof. SECTION 6. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution; shall enter the same in the book of original resolutions of said city; and shall make a minute of the passage and adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City Council of said city, in the minutes of the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted.
